Montien Hotel Reviews

We arrived in Bangkok after a long flight from Birmingham via Dubai on the excelent Emirates Airlines.

There are two Montien hotels in Bangkok. One next to the Chao Phraya River and the one we stayed in near to Pat Pong market. The hotel was superb. Very comfortable and clean with staff so frindly and helpful.
The rooms were a decent size with mini-bar, TV, AC with slippers and dressing gowns supplied. Each evening, the bed was made up with the corner of the sheets folded over, gown on bed, slippers by side of bed and flowers on the pillows. Very nice.

Pat Pong market was busy, busy, busy!
You can but everything from T shirts; polo shirts, shorts, footwear, watches, jewelry, hand bags, belts, cd's, handicrafts and so much more.
There were stalls set up selling all sorts of wonderful foods
Bangkok is a great place to go for a great time, dirt cheap shopping and wonderful sightseeing.

We visited The Grand Palace. Wonderful. We also had an enjoyable time visiting Jim Thompson House. Further afield we went on an organised trip to The Bridge over The River Kwai taking in a floating market at the same time.
We also went to Khao Yai Natinal Park which was an enjoyable day out and went on an elephant trek. Excelent day out.

I look forward to re-visiting Bangkok in the near future.
