First time to Thailand and it blew us away. Had the best holiday ever.

People were incredible and friendly. We shopped until we dropped on Bangkok, especially at the Weekend Market, MBK Centre and the nightmarket. We flew via Malaysis to Phuket. Spent a week at Thara Patong which was fabulous. Basically across the road from the beach, but tucked away so you are not exposed to the traffic and noise. Several, huge swimming pools. Lovely big rooms with lovely view onto the pool and balcony. Staff amazing. Breakfast buffet huge with so much variety. Several bars, an Indian and Italian restaurant and a seafood restaurant. Patong was lovely and it was inspiring to see how people had got on with their lives post Tsunami. Day trip to Phi-phi, etc was all organised by the hotel and so cheap. Loved it. Bangkok blew our minds.

An incredible experience. we hated the Baiyoke Sky Hotel and transferred to the Radisson. What a pleasure. Lovely rooms, fruit in the room, water and use of the pool and gym. Taixs on call and shuttles to the sky train and other centres.

We will be returning to the Thailand hope to go a bit off the beaten track.
