My husband and I booked our holiday through Travelbag...they sorted everything, including a private transfer to and from our hotel. The Dusit Hotel itself is AMAZING!!! A lovely welcome everytime you walked through the door, which was opened for you. The rooms were very spacious and were very clean. Fresh towels available for use by any of the three pools and also for the beach. We booked for room only, which wasn't a problem because it is so cheap to eat out in Pattaya. I've been spoilt now...will never stay in anything less then 4 star!!!

We stayed at the Dusit for our honeymoon. Hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Excellent 5 star service. Waiters extremely helpful.

Visited Thailand many times, I don`t think after anyone has experienced Thailand they only ever go just the once!

Have stayed in the Dusit before and will no doubt stay there again and again in the future. This is a superb hotel with all the5*trappings. We had a garden view this time, but before we paid the little extra for a sea/pool view. It is worth the extra for that as the garden view rooms were not nearly as nice we found. The location is excellent as just a short walks takes you into the centre of the resort.

This resort is very busy and bustling 24/7 so if you are looking for a more tranquil tropical place then this will not be for you.Everything in Thailand is just so cheap that shopping takes on a different meaning as there is virtually nothing there that can`t be bought. Of course it pays to barter, but they expect it and it`s fun. If you work on the fact that the item is worth approximately half what they first ask, you then get a rough idea what it is worth and go from there.These people have to make a profit though so don`t be too hard on them as to us it is dirt cheap even to start with, you will always end up with a bargain.Jewellery is one of the best buys to be had,worth double or more what you pay and so different to what you would get at home.

So many places to eat but if you are looking for real good English food then it has to be The Sportsman or Greg`s Kitchen, both are good value and generous portions. They also serve excellent Thai food as well. Go to Will`s the tailor for the best workmanship in Pattaya at fair prices nothing is too much trouble and they are wonderful people.

All in all as far as holidays go there is just nowhere else in the world to compare with Thailand!

we stayed at the DUSET resort in pattaya as we had been recomended and it was everything and more...hotel ,service,location really good..Pattaya city is very busy and we loved every minute we were also recomended to go on a bart bus to jomtien beach and we found it very nice and a great beach it was also cheaper for drinks in jomtien area it was nice to walk round we found a nice local bar on the beach called CAFFA with great cocktails and a great european restaurant called QUEENS musical restaurant the food was really lovely and the staff were very attentive,the philadephia soup was to die for

we will go back to the Duset ,CAFFA and QUEENS restaurant again
