Grand Jomtien Palace Reviews

We stayed in this hotel from 16th MArch - 2nd April 2006. It is in a superb location, right on the beach and half way along the beach road through Jomtien.

It is primarily a scandinavian resort but caters for all nationalities and almost everyone speaks english.

The hotel is superb with two swimming pools, one large freestyle and one on the 4th floor of the hotel ( both outdoor). Sunbeds, cushions and umbrellas are plentiful.

The hotel has 12 floors and 2 lifts which were working perfectly during our stay. Daily maid service and linen changed daily. Air conditioned rooms and all have a sea view, TV, fridge and provide towels for the beach/pool.

The cost was approximately £14 per night for the room including a buffet breakfast.

Extremely helpful staff and could not fault this hotel at all.

The resort is a short baht bus ride ( 10 minutes) from Pattaya and these are plentiful outside the hotel reception. The cost into Pattaya is about 20 baht per person ( 35p )

Airconditioned taxi back to the airport was 1,200 baht and this is about a 2 hour journey.

Weather was 35 degrees and sunshine every day except one whilst we were there.

People extremely friendly and the resort is lively, but if you want 24 hour liveliness, then visit Pattaya!

We would highly recommend this resort and hotel to anyone visiting Jomtien/Pattaya!
