Hotel El Mouradi Club Selima Reviews

Just got back from a 1 week holiday from this hotel.

Minus Points:
This Hotel has got to be at least 20 years old and it shows, although they have tried to give it a face lift. Our room was in block 46 a good 10 min walk from the pool area and Hotel, the bedroom was big enough but basic the bathroom was a joke could not swing a cat and you had to be under 8 stone to sit on the wc or a contortionist.
They was good hot water for a shower even though it was rust coloured. The towels were changed every day and the beds made.

The location was right on the beech and the sand and sea great, but you do have to watch for jellyfish you find lots of dead ones (blue) washing up or on the beach.

We went all inclusive and the food and drink options were rubbish. Beer and Red Wine ok spirits limited to vodka and 3 types of fruit spirits which were awfull (German taste only)Lucky we took a bottle of Jack D and Baccardi with us.
Food was all geared up for the French or the Germans, we lasted the week by eating eggs, Chips and pizza we also eat out for 2 nights DOOOO NOTTTT ORDER STEAKS it is not what you expect it to be.

The entertainment is rubbish, they do try hard but do not speak in english and is very datted.

the rep at the hotel was rude and did nothing to help when you complain.

The hotel shuts down at 11pm you can't even sit and have a quite beer.

Plus Points.
The staff are very friendly but get even friendlier if you tip them. But they do keep coming back to serve you.

The location is right on the beach and it is nice, you can walk into Port El Kantaoui along the beach about 20min or a 5 min taxi ride the fare is only 6td but if you give them a note you will seldom get any change but the white nuckle ride is worth it.
El Kantaoui is full of shops and eating places and have lovely fountains and is well worth a visit but beware you will be hasseled by the ";lookie lookie"; ";good price for you"; ";cheap as chips"; boys.
Quite frankly it do's my head in.

Plenty of sunbeds no need to get up to early even with all the germans. You do not have to pay for a sunbed but if you want the cushion it will cost you 2td a day each (80p)if you tip the pool boys and ask if you can have the same beds the next day thy will keep them for you.

The hotel has plenty of space in the lobby and on the terrace but you my have to get your own drinks from the bar.

Overall.
There are much better hotels around with better facilitys but the hotel was clean and on the beach but i don't think it is right for the British as it is a very French and German based Hotel.
We only paid £250 for a week which is cheepppppp if i hade paid full price i would not have been happy.
