Just come back after 1 week staying here am now looking at booking again, staff cannot do enough for you,we have never gone all inclusive before but found this experiance at Riviera to be excelant.The food selection was of a very high standard we also had two night alcarte which again realy set the scene.we did go out of the hotel down to the port and also to Sousse.

We spent 7 days at this fantastic hotel (April 08). The staff work really hard and there is a genuine friendliness. They make the effort to get to know you and love practising their English. You cannot fault the cleanliness of the rooms or public areas.The food was o.k,we definately wasnt left feeling hungry,there was plenty of choice. We were lucky with the weather (one rainy day-but still warm).

The Tale of Three Cities is a must. Our Tour Guide was so knowledgable and interesting.Although the constant harrassment from the market traders became abit too much.

On a negative note however, I found our Thomson Rep abit aloof and when we were on our way back to the airport she kept saying to mark 'Excellent'in the boxes for the Rep as she 'didnt want to end up in Bendidorm instead of Barbados next year'. I found this midly annoying as she hadnt really gone out of her way really, eapecially when I asked a question 'The Insurance I took out for Europe includes Tunisia,how do I stand with my National Insurance (E1 11) card,am I covered? She looked at me and said 'What do you think,your in Africa!'

On the whole,highly recommend Hotel Riveria.If you want to chill for aweek (a week is perfect) or be busy with all the activities available at the hotel,then we would recommend this hotel.

SPENT 1 WEEK THIS APRIL AS A COUPLE WITH A 7 YEAR OLD ALL INCLUSIVE WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME. ROOM WAS ROOMY AND CLEAN AND CLEANED EVERYDAY. ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND WORKED REALLY HARD, ESPECIALLY THE ANIMATION TEAM WHO WORK LONG HOURS BUT NEVER SEEM TO LOOSE ENTHUSIASISM. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO JOIN IN YOU JUST SAY NO, BUT WE DID AND HAD A GREAT LAUGH. THERE WAS PLENTY TO DO FOR MY SON AND THE GROUNDS ARE VERY SAFE. SECURITY ON THE FRONT GATES STOPPED ANYONE COMING IN WHO SHOULD NOT BE.THE FOOD WAS ALWAYS NICE AND LOTS OF CHOICE, THERE IS THE MAIN RESTARAUNT AND A SNACK BAR BESIDE THE POOL WHICH WAS MY SONS FAVOURITE FOR CHOCOLATE PANCAKES. THE POOL WAS COLD OUTSIDE BUT THE INDOOR ONE WAS LIKE A BATH. WE HAD ONE OVERCAST CHILLY DAY THEN 6 DAYS OF LOVELY SUNNY WARM WEATHER. OVERALL A FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY PLACE TO STAY YOU EVEN GET A BOTTLE OF WATER EVERY DAY FOR YOUR ROOM.

Just got back from a brilliant week in the Occidental Allegro Riviera. Apart from not having the best of weather all week (would not recommend April for Tunisia hols!) the hotel, the surroundings and the staff made for a fantastic and memorable holiday that we will definately do again!

The hotel Riviera is very impressive - the lobby is beautiful! It is everything and morte that we expected from a 4* hotel. The food was fantastic - you can eat brekkie from 6.30-11.00 (unheard of in AI's), lunch from 12-4 and dinner from 6.30+. You just can't miss a sitting and if u do it is only and hour until the next one!

The comments made on here about the drink are spot on though. You can drink loads all day and still be sober (unless u drink the wine or G and T's), but was nice.

The rooms were clean, and the pool was fantastic, although freezing in April. The beach was even better!

Visiting the Port was fab. It is so pretty and you can waslk along the beach there was is also a stunning walk.

The entertainment team did their upmost to keep you happy, although some of their evening 'shows' were a little naff.

Definately go! Don't stay in the Abou Sofiane! The riviera is noticeably upmarketand people from the Abou were asking to be moved coz the Riviera is so much nicer!
