well what can i say i would rather use my testicals as breaks whilst sliding down a razor blade than go to this hotel again we were infested with cockroaches the food was at best disgusting i lost over 2 stone there was 10 brits at the hotel and we all wanted OUT the rep was only interested in selling you trips the beach was full of cammel dung and dumped rubish so much more to sat however its all BAD save your money and go somewhere else oh i have to say something positive the weather was good and the food on the plane home was the best i had since arriving at that hotel

We arrived at our hotel at midnight on Sun 11th Sept 2005. We checked in and were given bright yellow hospital style wrist bands. This was to show staff that we were all inclusive and other guests that we were BRITISH! The following day we had a look around as it was raining.

The hotel and complex is designed over a large area. The rooms are chalets in blocks of 4 all on ground level. The rooms were clean and basicaly somewhere to shower, sleep and get changed. The toilets smell constantly, especially at night as the water drains away. We had 1 cockroach in our room over the 2 weeks, which wasn't bad going. The lizards are cute and are good at getting insects and pests from your room so leave them alone if you have one.

The food was very repetative, cold and i would have to say none Tunisian. We waited a full week just to see a bowl of cous cous! The bars in the hotel or should i say bar was diabolical. You were served drinks in little plastic tumblers and were allowed 2 at a time. The local spirits stripped the lining from your stomach and my husband and myself were very ill after drinking the vodka. The soft drinks were flat, cheap, nasty and also were avoided after 2 days.If you wanted a bottle of water to take to your room you had to buy this from the shop at 1 dinar (50p) but we paid to go All Inclusive so this proved to be a real pain.

The animators(entertainment staff) were very good and were on the go from 9am to 11pm. The bar staff were very funny and if you were lucky you were given glasses and as many drinks as you could carry. Luckily, we were. They seemed to respect the British and i can understand why. The other guests from other countries were so rude and very ignorant. They had pink, blue or white wrist bands. A little note for you British. ";Stick together!";

All in all we were very disappointed with the hotel and we were told that First Choice have infact pulled out of this hotel next year and Thompsons are taking over. I would go back just to see if anything has been done to improve the complex. I would suggest more bars, another pool and maybe a few restaurants on site. They have a beach bar that serves drinks and snacks but only till 6pm. This isn't good for those picky eaters and children! The management should also take more of an interest in what the guests have to say instead of swanning around doing nothing!!!!

Just came back from Skanes Garden, and realy enjoyed the resort.
The anamators are great and do the best they can with the limited resources that they have.
Look out for "; Ben "; realy great guy,but they are all so very friendly.
when you go in the site shops haggle for anything that is not priced, "; they love it";.
I'm a very picky eater and I found something to eat every meal, anybody that comes away hungry when all inclusive has only themselves to blame.
The only set back that I can forsee is that there is only one bar for drinks in the hotel,so you need to stock up just ask for a couple at the time.
If you can do the camel trip with Ali Baba it was real good fun,and you get food and drink as well.

I would go back any time, and there were a dozen of us.

don't bother. food disgusting. rooms fairly clean. communal toilets foul was nearly sick! flies, flies and more flies.only good thing jetski and parascending about 7 pound each on beach.
