My boyfriend and I arrived home on Monday and can honestly say we had a great time. I'm not sure if I would go back soon, but maybe in a few years.
The hotel was fantastic. There are three pools, a few restaurants, and the rooms are big enough. Someone told us the hotel was revamped about 6 years ago and most of the rooms are two rooms knocked into one. Our room was overlooking the sea and we only had to walk about 5 meters from our balcany to the sea - it was lovely listening to the waves when you're going to sleep. We didn't find anywhere that sold alcohol but a couple we met found somewhere is Sousse where you could buy the large bottles of Stella that you pay 5 dinar for in the hotel for 1 dinar each.
We got caught out on our first morning by one of the locals who dressed us in head scaves, necklaces etc and wouldn't take them back, so don't take anything off them. We didn't enjoy Sousse on our first visit as you couldn't look in any of the shops without being pestered and we ended up paying for things we didn't want just to get out. There was a part of three in our hotel - daughter (about 6 yr old) her mother and grandmother and they got locked in a carpet shop for two hours and forced to hand over £1,000 for a carpet or they couldn't get out! There are tourist police you get report being ripped off to and they got £500 back for them. So be careful and just try to have your wits about you. We did go back to sousse on our last day (sunday) and they have a good market on. Try and look for the stores with fixed prices and they let you look around without bugging you.
All in all, had a great time, weather was fantastic. Keep your eye out for a guy called Charlie who works separate to the hotel, but sits in the lobby - he arranges camel trips where you ride through the olive groves, watch what a traditional Tunisian wedding is like etc for about £13 each, you leave at 10am and back for about 1pm. He also arranged for us to go on quad bikes for about £15 each. My boyfriend liked it but i crashed after about 10 seconds.
Enjoy.

I had recently got engaged, and as a present booked a holiday for my fiance and myself, neither of us had been to Tunisia before so thought it would be a nice change.
I feel like I could write a book about this place, but I will keep it brief. Holidays makers deserve to know what they are letting themselves in for as probably like me they work hard all year and save up to go away. This place was without doubt the worst place that I or my fiance have ever set foot.
You were practically gaurenteed to see rats every day around the complex both inside and out.
Anyone wanting to loose some weight would love this palce as the food is uneadable
the place is filthy, other than the communal areas the hotel is the absoloute pits. You will never meet such rude unfriendly people in all of your life they would charge you to breathe if they could find a way. The entertainment would probably been awful if there would have been any, there isn't a bar or resturant or even a shop for miles around. The is no escape what so ever.
I would not go back there or anywhere in Tunisia for all the money in the world.
I would strongly reccomend that you do not go here, even if you were unlucky enough to win a free holiday to this resort - do not go.
