Hotel Royal Kenz Reviews

This time of the year the weather is absolutly gorgeous. If its a top tan you are after then Tunisia is the place to go. All the staff at the Hotel are so helpful, very very very friendly...bit too much with the ladies sometimes!

We felt that it was graded a little too high for a 4* Thompson Gold as hotel rooms are a little bit shabby, dated and probabley not too that standard of cleanliness and a real down side is that all rooms are 'smoking rooms'. Smelt often of sewage in the corriders and a few wiffs of it now and again around the pool.

The outside area is lovley, especially the bar by the pools and the Royal Kenz restaurant down by the beach. Nice basic food with shade and a sea view to chill out. Nice relaxed music on the go in a relaxed setting.

Be careful when out and about bartering for local products, clothes, souvenirs etc. Its best to look about and decided on what you would like and then how much you will pay for it as its so easy to get a bit sucked in!

Felt very safe at the Hotel. Food was okay, worth trying the tunisian dish each evening. On site shop good prices for water and diet coke! This shop may also give you a rough guide on prices for certain items you may want to buy from the Port or wherever you are out shopping, Once Again Be Carefull as its easy for them to make you feel your getting a propper bargain ( But You Aint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
