Overall Resort Rating:
some beaches were dirty with rubbish on them. There are people trying to sell you nick nacks even on the beaches which is a pain when you are trying to relax. The cost of food and drinks are reasonable not much english food about. Did not go out at night so night life could not comment didnot see many clubs discos. Plenty to see depending on what you want.

Overall Resort Rating:
Some of the resort seems a bit run down, but we had a good time and enjoyed it. Getting out of town to other parts of Tunisia was fantastic. Lovely weather.

Nice resort, lovely beach. Some of the souks were interesting, even though most sell aboslute tack! Great value compared to Spain.

"Sousse - we love you"
Overall Resort Rating:
A lovely situation , where criticism must take a back seat. The City/Town was an education - the sunday market must be visited and for us was a deeply memorable experience -the shops and indoor markets are a must. we revisited many times. All in all a beautiful two weeks holiday which we shall definitely repeat , as soon as possible.

We quite liked Sousse, it was a bit more interesting than going to Tenerife etc. It was mainly nice and sunny which is always helpful. Nice markets too.

Overall Resort Rating:
There is plenty to do in Sousse from the medina to a pirate ship cruise. The Tej has a private beach accross the road & sunbeds are free if you take your room key with you although the beach boy except a tip which we obliged by giving them 1 dinar which is about 50 pence. Souse is one of the oldest towns in Tunisia & is steeped in history & well worth a visit loads of shops as well. Port El Kantoee or how ever you spell it (lol) is very pretty its the next town over & is 5 dinar (£2.50), for a taxi or 5 dinar on the noddy train which is more fun.

Overall Resort Rating:
Constantly hassled, be very careful if you have a blonde girl, they wont leave her alone!!! Be prepared to haggle for everything and prepare yourself for some rude shop keepers if you don't like thier pricing!! Sousse it self is quite dirty and run down, with the odd posh looking building slapped in the middle of a building site.

"Sousse"
Overall Resort Rating:
Sousse area is quite an eye opener if you didnt know what to expect. coming from the airport to sousse was quite a shock to see the barain land with old cars and junk shrewn over the area, even on the beach.
The area was like something out of buruit. The rundown buildings are inter mixed with buildings like the bank of tunisia - quite surreal .
Once you are used to it sousse is an enjoyable holiday venue with culture.
The sousse medina is the place to avoid unless you are sure on your tatics ther as once they reel you in be prepared for a high price and then you will have to haggle down to around 80% discount else you will be fleeced by the seller.
I would strongley suggest going with the hotel staff or group of fellow holiday makers you trust as safety in number i say.

Nice resort. It was really hot, but we don't mind that. Good choice of activities, the desert camel trip has to be done. We also liked haggling at the market!

We were all inclusive so didn't eat out much. Beaches were excellent, camel safari a must! Hotel facilities marvellous. Shops were a bit boring, all selling the same camels/jewels/fake brands, but good for a browse.

Lovely Medina, especially good in the souks for haggling. Be ready for lots of hassling though. They can be very insistent even before you've had a chance to browse.
