myself and my daughter took a late deal to dreams beach hotel. After booking it we read tha reviews and were very upset that we were going to have a bad holiday, how wrong we were, we met up with a few other british people and there were only a few people actually staying there in the hotel. We all had a great time thought the staff were great and the food was good on speaking to the manager he said he had only been at the hotel a few months and was trying to make it a better place than it was he was a great guy and we were able to have a laugh with the staff and management and builtup some great friendships.
we used to spend the later part of the evenings in the paradise bar in hotel then go across to the irish bar across the road. The medina in town is a great place to go shopping if you enjoy haggling.
Cant wait to go back in june (same hotel)
dreams beach nightmare beach would be more appropriate hotel was nasty, food was nasty, hotel staff was nasty is there anymore to say

this holiday was a last minute deal and at 164 pounds each half board each was good value. however we were two single women travelling alone and had a lot of unwanted attention from the men who were at times a bit full on for our liking openly inviting us to places for s*xual favours.
the beach was okay shallow water and warm but frequented by hoards of locals who seemed to go to beach in morning and evenings en mass and wash in the sea with their clothes on we found this very strange, there was no night life other than traditional music belly dancing and even english bars were owned and run by locals often packed with local men who pestered us constantly.
shopping was a nightmare as they asked u to name your price then tried to rip u off swearing at u if u wouldnt buy. but a firm scottish no chance sent them packing most of the time .
the food in the hotel was ok there was always something we could eat but into our third day we had the 'scoots' for the rest of the week. alcohol and often soft drinks were of poor quality and hard to find.
but we enjoyed our week it was different and if u dont like basic and uncivillised then it is not the place for u.
