Pool area really good, always got a sun lounger even after 0900hrs all with cushions.
Not much going on about pool or even at night in hotel, very low key which suited us. Not much out in the beach frontarea, mostly shops and hotels.
We were half board and no complaints re food as well catered for as was my sister-in-law who is a vegan. Buffet breakfast and dinner with plenty of choice.
Weather fantastic, too hot at times but thats why you go.
Overall enjoyed holiday in this hotel in Hammamet Yasmine classed as a 4 star, which is probably just about right although a bit more could have been done for night time entertainment

Just returned from a fab two weeks at the Flora Park.
The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. We were on the Half board basis, and thought the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner, we didn't eat at the hotel at lunchtime, preferring to eat at a local restaurant just around the corner called La Grotta (they sold pizzas, sandwiches, paninis, pancakes etc). You are not allowed to bring food into the hotel from outside (although it was extremely easy to smuggle in using a backpack! what they don't see can't hurt them! The drinks are quite expensive in the resort - 5.5 dinars for a beer - about £2.50, and the wine was 12.8 dinars, which is about £5.50 per bottle. Do not change your money in the hotel, despite the fact that the rate is supposed to be the same as the bank - it is not, we got about 11 dinars per £100 more by going to the bank - which is about £5 - it adds up if you are spending a lot! Do go on the local (bendy)bus to Hammamet and Nabeul - just 0.465 dinars to Hammamet and 1.2 to Nabeul - avoid Nabeul on a Friday, when the market is held. The bus stops just along the road form the hotel.
Went on a couple of trips organised by the tour company (woudl not normally do this, but could not find anything else to go on locally), firstly the Berber Night -do not bother, it is the same entertainment as in the hotel, the food is sparce and just sniffing the free red wine can give you a migraine - we got a free trip to the reps cabaret night after complaning about it. The reps night was good, we had free time in Port El Kantauoi, and then had a lvely meal at a restaurant in the marina there. The cabaret itself was not really to our taste, but we could have spent the two hours we were there wandering about in Sousse.
We also went on the two day desert safari - a wonderful trip, but a lot of time sat on the coach, we also got served some awful food at lunchtime on the second day, which I refused to eat, some sort of chicken or turkey swimming on a bed of olive oil and veggies! YUK!
All in all though a wonderful holiday, we met some wonderful fellow Brits, who also had a great time over in Tunisia.

LET DOWN ON UNSAFE PRACTICE
This hotel was clean, the pool was good, the food was good, the staff were friendly and polite, they are on low pay so a 10% tip on purchases will be appreciated, just remember that a Dinar is only 42p. Entertainment was not that good; there is good entertainment on the big stage in the medina at night.
Bad points, the fire escape that serves rooms 131 - 146 - 231 - 246 and 331 - 346 is pad locked at night, the instructions for actions in the event of a fire will lead you to this locked door. the instructions also instructs guests to close the room doors as you evacuate, this action would leave guests stranded in smoke filled corridors, without the option of returning to rooms to escape over the balcony.
Also at this hotel, I noticed poolside lamps with missing bulbs, at a height accessible to young children and with nothing to seal of the electrical connections.
I reported these concerns to the reception and to the rep from Med Hotels however nothing was done.
I would not return to this hotel, due to these safety concerns.

Me and my two mates have just returned from what can only be described as the best holiday of our lives!
Tunisia is by far the friendliest place we have ever visited. In fact we returned two days ago, and are already planning a return there in December- as soon as we can get time off work to be honest.
The hotel we stayed in was amazing, especialy for the price! It is clean, friendly, and to be honest, amazing!
the staff were wonderful, and cant help you enough. I have read some reviews that the bar staff only help the young single girls (and we fell into this catagory) and I would like to say, this is totally untrue, whilst they were happy to show us the local nighlife (for which we were greatful- tunisian men appear to hunt in packs, and knowing some locals saved us from that) but they were truely wonderful to all guests, old, young, families, groups etc. they dont get paid a great amount and yet the service was always with a smile, and a chat about everything and anything. This got a bit confusing, considering they can talk in about 7 languages, and flick from one guest to the next. It was ammazing just how articualt they were in every language! It should put us brits to shame!
I cant really explain Tunisia, except its like going to spain and not having drunken brits everywhere!
The weather was very hot, and gets even hotter peak season!
the beach is a 5 min walk from the hotel, and there is a Madina just down the road. To get to the larger tows costs about one dinar (40p)!!!
Food was amazing, and a meal out could be had by all of us for less than 10 pounds!
The only expense was the alchohol, however there is a supermarket in Hammamet, and if you get to know the security guards they will turn a blind eye to what you bring threw the gate!
I would like to especialy highlight the work of the bar staff who, frankly made our holiday, if you go, take them on a night out with you, you wont be dissapointed (and no, you dont have to buy their drinks!) they really do make sure you have a great evening!
As I said me and my friends are already going back in December, and will no doubt go back next summer, because Tunisia really is the nicest country we have ever experienced, and Flora Park plade a hudge part in making sure we had an amazing time!

Our holiday didn't start very well as we had an hour delay, but one in seven years is not bad. It was one and a half hour journey to our hotel,we arrived at 7.00am which was abit tiring all we wanted to do was go to bed but we decided to go straight into breakfast.
Our room was lovely a nice big bathroom, plenty of space for all our toiletries and we even had a fridge which didn't have to pay for. You could see where they got the name for the hotel from there was flowers every where even in the place where you put your cigarette out! The breakfast room and breakfast was excellant plenty of variety and staff very helpful, the breakfast room looked out onto a huge swimming pool. We spent most of time around the pool which is unusual for us as we usually like the beach but it was perfect no children and no loud music and no one constantly trying to get you to do something energetic bliss.
The beach area was a nice idea every hotel had its own separate bit of beach, we had a lovely walk down the very long promenade with seats all the way down, yasmine as a area was lovely shops restaurants lovely hotels what we saw of other areas we think this the best but i must agree with the person who said it abit souless, you could have any where.
We decided to be abit energetic and go on the 2 day sahara explorer, which we were glad we did we went to el jem where Gladiator was filmed, which amazing. Then visited the home of the berber tribesmen,in the caves of matmata, you can not beleive people live like this still but saying that many had there satelite dishes. This is also the setting for starwar films. Next day we had a camel ride in the sahara desert for an hour very beautiful but we were very sore after !!
all in all we enjoyed tunisia
