The resort town of side has plenty to offer from restaurants and shops to long sandy beaches with ancient ruins scattered along this town. Please be aware that shop sellers are persistent and keen to eye up the ladies.

Side is a beautiful resort with lots of nice walks and would suit people who enjoy beach holidays plashed with local historical sites (of which Side is one huge one).
Eating out is excellent with many restaurants selling both local and international cuisine.
The beaches are excellent with free sunbeds, but be prepared to be hassled whenever you go out. It can be fun, but does get a bit annoying after a while.
I recommend Kingfisher Bar is the next street across from Raga. The host Ram is married to an English lady. Food is of an excellent quality and his prices are very good.
