Sirca Apartments Reviews

Just got back from these appartments and would reccomend them to anyone.The complex is small with a nice pool area the appartments themselves are well equipped(by turkish standards)with sat tv showing local channels,a decent amount of kitchen utensils and a small grill/oven,as well as the usual 2 ring hob.the rooms were cleaned 6 times a week and were kept clean and tidy by the entirely male cleaning team. The hotel staff were very friendly especially mehmet,mustafa,deniz,ozzy and elvis, elvis spent loads of time playing bar football with our two boys but all the staff made the effort to get to know you and were polite and didnt hassle you in any way. The hotel has a restraunt which we used quite a few times as it was good value for money( compared to the beachfront places)and the food was pretty good too. The only slight niggles we had with the hotel complex were...there was a lack of sunbeds and parasols at times which meant having to get up early to secure a place by the pool whereas there were quite a few poolside hammocks which were rarely used by anyone taking up space that could have been used for extra loungers etc,and the other niggle being the complex was very quiet in the evening everyone was pretty much in bed for 12:30 which is fine if you have small children or if you want a really peaceful holiday,but,if like us,you like the odd later night you'd have to go elsewhere,though bitez seemed to shut around 1am anyway. However all in all we had a lovely two weeks holiday and will probably go back next year for a week in september.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Sirca Apartments , Had a very good time.
To put all in context we are going to return there if we can pull it off for a cheap week at the end of the season .
However very rarely is everything perfect
1 Although apartments 1 bed and sleep 4 there is only one wardrobe and one bedside cabinet in the main bedroom nothing in the lounge area for the people sleeping there !! Would be just about ok if you had a few children - if you went as 2 couiples you'd need to be very friendly !!!
2 £10 per week charge for a safety box , you could not get 2 passports , 2 wallets and a small digital video camera in.
3 £25 per week for air conditioning
4 1 toilet roll and then you have to buy your own
5 Poorly equiped for a self catering holiday realy , 1 sauce pan , 1 fry pan , 4 plates , no bowls or dishes a very blunt knife and my favourite ... when I went to reception to ask for a tin opener the reply was ";THE"; tin opener was at the bar !!!

All in all just small moans .. on the plus side
Clean , peacfull apartments only 24 apartments around a nice sized pool with full bar and food service ( snacks and resteraunt )ample sun beds and hammocks, staff very firendly and helpfull ,In particular to us manager Dennis , Freddie one of the bar man and Richard the 1st choice rep . But all staff there are very good. Eating and drinking at the apartments is fairly cheap and their food is as good as it comes in the resort. The resort ( Bitez ) does not have any big music bars or karaoke bars so its nice and peacfull at night But the buzz and action of Gumbet are only £3 away in a taxi.

So in conclusion my opinion is this-- we met several families / couples who were on their 2 or 3 visit to Sirca and we will be joining that list of return customers its ideal if you like a bit of peace and are willing to jump in a cheap taxi to Gumbet for the music bars .

But if you are 18 - 30 type party animals its not for you and neither is Bitez .
One mans meat is another mans poison and all that jazz

This was our first visit to Turkey and we will definately be going again! The Sirca Apts were every bit as good as the reviews say, if not better.

What really made this holiday such a memorable one was the was the staff both at our accomodation and in the resort itself. Yes, there is a certain amount of ";hassle"; from the restaurant staff but very often we found that a chat and a giggle resulted. Bare in mind ";its the Job";, be polite and decline the invitatiions. You soon get into the swing of this laid back resort, and the resort staff make this easy.

All along the beach front are palm and olive trees with huge bean bags and cushions as well as hammocks for lounging around on; shady during the day but lit by lanterns on a night-perfect! The staff at the Dolphin were fun and kept us laughing all the way through our holiday and we felt as though the staff at the Sirca were life long friends by the time we left! Lovely people, lovely resort.

The sirca is an excellent place to stay,staff are very friendly and helpful.The apartment themselves are very clean and spacious with plenty of room for four people with a double bed and two good size sofa beds. Food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced.

Location is only a short walk to the beach were there are many restaurants who are all offering basicaly the same menu.As you walk by you will get the usual turkish hassle,the one to look out for is the SULTAN,the food is excellent but they can turn nasty with their comments towards you if you don't eat in there the next night.
ps. the only downside to the sirca is that you are only supplied with one toilet roll to last you're entire stay,so be prepared and bring you're own!

Merhaba to everyone at the Sirca!!Well...what can i say but absoultely fabulous. This was our fifth year in Turkey and we all had a brilliant time.
Apartments were clean and spacious (thanks to Safey our cleaner)!! Pool was great as was the jacuzzi!and with unlimited hammocks and sunbeds. You didnt have to get up at the carack of dawn to make sure you got a bed.
All the guests were great, we have made some great friends. All the staff were fabulous,Deniz, Juma, Mustafa, Yetkin, Yusuf, Crazy crazy Ebo, Memet, i cant forget wee Liam, i still want to bring you home, Tom Cruise watch out!! the securtiy staff and of course all the chefs!!
The food was absolutley fabulous. Tried everything on the menu and can honestly say mmmmm. Turkish Chicken was amazing, thanks Yusuf!
We had Sky TV for the footie, a pool table, air hockey and a ping pong table for the kids to play with.

We met up with people we hadnt seen for a couple of years, so Hi Nigel and family. Hows Tonto??

We booked private boat trips with the Siesta boat. Captain Zarif was cool. Kids had a fab time. Cant wait for next year. The 2 dat trips we had were great and the moonlight cruise was amazing, nice and cool, lovley to see the sun and moon go down in the same night!

Went to see Bodrum castle, lovely. Market day in Bodrum was hectic, but it always was. Prices are the same as last year, you only get what you pay for. Prices at the Sirca were good.

cant wait to see everyone again. The Sirca is the newest secret in Bitez. Hello to you all and many many thanks to everyone.
