A very good quality 3* Hotel. Bed & Breakfast is the best option because of the restaurant's nearby. Hotel Serpina offers a good breakfast and have a very good range of snacks at the pool side bar.The staff are first class and will make your stay a happy one. The team are well motivated and trained, Abbey and his team work very hard to please their customers. The swimming pool is excellent with plenty of sunbeds, the rooms are a good size with clean linen changed 3 times a week.Hotel Serpina is a must if you stay in Gumbet. The one thing i would like to see is the air conditioning built in the price. Not paid locally on arrival. The restaurant's in Gumbet are of a good quality,Chinatown,The Red Dragon, Columbia,(pity about the dogs roaming the place and diners feeding the bones to the dogs)and the atmosphere is well none. Please don't turn left when you go out at night, go straight across the road and walk for about 3 mins you come to the FAMILY DOOR THE BEST RESTUARANT IN GUMBET GREAT STAFF,GREAT FOOD TRUST ME GO AND TRY IT.The food and portions are 1st class, and a very good menu, try the casserole Beef,Lamb,or Chicken they are cooked in a clay pot then opened at your table more than enough for two people. When i go back to Gumbet this will be my place of eating during my stay. We meet people in this restaurant who have dined their for 4 years

OverallVery Good Resort

Gumbet is for the young and old.My only criticism is the stray dogs that roam the town and beaches and restaurants. The worst place for this was the Columbia dogs roaming the garden flower beds with diners throwing the scraps to them.this establishment serv...

the serpina has a really friendly atmosphere. it is a lovely hotel with fantastic staff who really enjoy making your stay an excellent time. when we arrived it was nt long before we got to know everyone and we were made very welcome by michael and co. we were only there for 7 days, and it was too short we will definately stay for 2 weeks next year.
there are loads of good places to eat but we have to say The Windy Bay and the Columbia were very good.
my husband had wanted a tattoo to cover up one he did himself years ago, and he went to Efrat who owns all the tattoo places in gumbet. he is a lovely guy who is a proffesional tattooist. his work is more than excellent. you will find him on bar street.

The beach near the windy bay is dissapointing with lots of ciggarette butts everywhere, but if you walk up a short way to where the sami hotel is, it is very nice.
the beach front is full of restaurants and bars with lots of entertainment good food and friendly people.

It was our first time in turkey but it definatly wont be our last. It was truly a holiday to remember.

Hi Everybody

Wow what can i say! We have just got back from a fantastic fortnights holiday and i cant wait to go back.

Everybody at the hotel from the moment we walked through the door till the time we got on the coach to come home were so friendly. They couldnt do enough for you, they were all fantastic and its thanks to them that our holiday was brilliant. The rooms are kept very clean and there is plenty of space and the shower is the best power shower ive ever had on holiday.

I can definately recommend the Turkish bath and full body massage it was great. It works out about £30 each for the bath and massage but is well worth it.

The pool area is lovely clean and spacious with plenty of sunbeds and shades. The pool is lovely too but the shallow end is just over 5ft deep and at the deep end its 6ft but its lovely when you get in. If you fancy going to the beach its only five mins walk away, its very stoney but not bad when you go out in the water a little bit tho.
I can definately recommend eating in the hotel, the food is really very good. Especially the garlic bread, we ate there quite a bit. Micheal puts on a bbq and Turkish Night that was good and he always has crazy evening up his sleeve, including a staff party night, that was a great laugh.

There are plenty of places to eat out and we can definately recommend the Millienum Bar and Felix. They do fantastic meals in there and you wont come out hungry thats a fact. There are plenty of other places we tried too but they were the best.

We did a couple of trips one was going over to Kos. Please be aware this is a very long day waiting around in ques at passport control both at Bodrum and Kos and you are only in Kos about 3 1/2hrs. The other trip was diving. To be honest with you its not really worth doing. Virtually no fish down there, lots of sponges growing tho.
We met some fantastic people this holiday so im just saying hello to Janet and Graig, Anne and John, The Rotheram 6 group, Sarah and Tom, Tracey and John and also Francis and Jimmy. We all got on so well and had a great laugh most evenings.

The group of lads that look after you during your stay are fantastic. Say hi to Errol and Tanner(The Nutty Twosome), Ulldo, Micheal and Ekin and Alli the Chef for me, cos they are a great laugh.

All in all have a FANTASTIC HOLIDAY, you will without a doubt if you stay at the Serpina Hotel. WE CERTAINLY DID. !!!

I really loved being in Turkey, I wish I could say the same about the Serpina, I found the hotel was really noisey? all the corridors have got tiles on them, so when anyone arrived during the night everybody knew about it? The pool was really good and the staff were really good as well, but if you are after a chilled out holiday then don't go to the Serpina, I know they only have Turkish night once a week, but they do have music at the bar everynight until about 3 in the morning or later? If you are unlucky like us and your room is near the bar then their was no point in trying to get any sleep? we did go to the reception and mention it? but they were not interested? we even asked about a room change and all they said was that they were fully booked!!! The rooms were basic but clean, if you want tea or coffee then you have to get it from the bar and thats not cheap? so take a travel kettle because I tried to buy one and could not get one anywere. After 6 days we had had enough and moved hotel to the Tropicana Beach Hotel and I am glad we moved beacuse everything about that hotel was great, the staff were very helpful in evey way possible, Yunis, Dolphin, Togan, Appo, I cannot thank them enough for making our holiday something great to remember. I will go back to Gumbet again but only to the Tropicana Beach Hotel.

Thanks again Tropicana Beach Hotel.
