Families, Young Couples, Honeymooners, Older Couples, Beach Lovers or Pool Lovers will love this place - and the staff are really helpful if you have any sort of query or problem. If you want a more in depth review then see my review on ciao.co.uk under the hotel name.
Bodrum has more to offer than Gumbet but the smaller resort still has loads to offer. Loads of bars, restaurants, shops and mini-markets. Try the trip booking places too - but remember to haggle they will offer you more if they think you'll buy the same thi...

second time to WOW resort, first time for daughter and grandson, she loved it and desperate to return. All staff very pleasant except for one who works at the pool bar, bit down in the mouth for being a hotel worker! Staff in restaurant were lovely, helpful and always on hand to help. THe attention they gave my grandson was second to none, he was made to feel like a Prince! The 24hr doctor, DR Omer, who is based at the WOW is excellent, great person to contact which we had to when grandson took ill. He stayed with us at the clinic, explained what was going on and sought us out afterwards and everday checked on him to make sure all was well. THe clinic conditions were fantastic and know he wouldnt' have received any better medical care here in Scotland.
If you're considering the WOW then book it because you won't be disappointed. They think of everything and you don't even need to leave the complex there is so much to do but if you want to then Gumbet is a short walk away and the bus stops right outside the hotel if you want to go further afield into BOdrum. You will love the place and the people are very nice and unforgetful.

My wife and I visited Turkey for the first time and stayed in this hotel. The first impression is what a lovely reception and beautiful view from the reception. It was a nice touch having your bags taken to your rooms; which are more like apartments than hotel rooms. In fact I would think it is more like a holiday village than a hotel, don't let this put you off it has a lovely feel to it with the flowers and white wash. Food here is good and plentiful and so is the drink. Give a few lira in tips and your holiday will be even better. First class stay, so much so we are going back this year with my grown up children.

Accomodation is built on terraces on a steep incline down to the private beach. Few rooms have a sea view, and most balconies are in the shade which will be welcome in the summer heat. The rooms are very well furnished with an excellant bathroom with toiletries supplied. The room fridge /minibar is refilled everyday. All of the public rooms have wonderful views across Gumbet Bay.
British holiday makers are in the minority,--mostly Dutch and Belgian, but English is the language spoken by the staff who are friendly and very helpful.
Restaurant.--All meals are buffet style with tables inside and outside. Food on the whole is good with a big selection but the savoury dishes are mainly chicken, turkey and fish and plenty of vegetables and salads. the desert table is mouthwatering but watch those calories !! Fresh fruit and cheese are available at every meal. There are 3 specialist restaurants, Italian, Turkish, and Mediterranean which every one can visit free of charge, once a week to each of them by booking at the Guest Relations Office. The wine is acceptable and the sparkling wine from the lobby bar was a favourite.
The beach and the pools are well supplied with sunbeds and comfortable mattresses.
At beach level there is a water chute and plenty of activities for the active.
The staff are fastidious with the high standard of cleanliness everywhere.
Entertainment,---GB football is shown on big screen TV in the Conference room.
The Animation team, mostly Russian , put on excellant shows and work hard during the day with activities, but when it comes to audience participation the standard drops, and drops!!
We were keen to see the Bodrum peninsula, so went out a lot, by dolmus to Bodrum bus station, then took other dolmus to other places of interest. Bodrum is very pleasant with a few ancient ruins to see as well as the castle and harbour and of course the shopping!!
