did not feel safe . was expensive and was watched by everyone . we had to walk around with a empy drink carton from burger king so people would stop hassling us in the street to eat at there restaurant . not a nice place did not stop there long

Market on Wednesdays where you can get all your fake t-shirts, bags etc

Ephesus definitely worth a visit

We did not go into the town centre, we just didnt find the need to. We were all-inclusive so ate and drank at the bars inside the hotel. The all inc finished at 11 oclock so there was always a crowd at the bar trying to ge the last of the free drinks so you have to think ahead and make sure you get in all you want to drink beforehand as the drinks can be quite expensive , we paid about £2.50 for a small glass of coke for my grandson and £5 for a vodka and lemonade !It was our first night there but we made sure that didnt happen again!

loved kusadasi would seriously go there agen,people are fab and all the shops were very close by,love turkey

Coming from the place that claims a world famous market I think they got it wrong cause this place holds one great market but stay away when the cruise liners are in cause the bargains are not there cause the traders can spot an ignorant wealthy american at 100 yards

I found the markets to be expensive and VERY overcrowded. Again they charge you in Euro but you can pay in lira. Also they are pains when they want you to buy things. You have to run away when there backs are turned ha.

I recommend going to Ephesus it was brilliant and cheap 20ytl each, but wear a sun hat and also go as early as you can as it gets VERY VERY hot.

The dolphin show at adaland was good. Cost £18 per adult and £13 per child.

The beach on the resort wasn't very good, Loads of sea weed, they had tractors in the day trying to clean most of it out. Made the water look like Blackpool beach.

There are bars/restaurants as soon as you come out of the hotel and all along the beach down to the main area of Kusadassi which is about 15 mins to the centre. There are 100s of shops around the many streets of the town, although be warned you do get hassled by the shops/restaurant owners. It can also be quite intimidating for women as there are often many groups of men on the streets watching you walk by.

The marina area is excellent with a great walk down the front to where all the huse cruise liners come in.

Love this resort, we return frequently year after year. We have visited many other countries and different parts of Turkey, but we keep coming back to Kusadasi. The people are very friendly, as you expect from the Turkish. The harbour and the beaches are beautiful and there are many wonderful places to eat and drink. We have made so many wonderful friends there and can't wait to go back again for the fourth time this year! Be warned though, it is addictive!!!

Kusadasi has a little something for everyone.

In the centre of Kusadasi there is lots of shopping for Leather goods (handbags, shoes, jackets). Make sure you barter though. And of course the famous Turkish delight.

There are lots of Restaurants and cafes. The ones near the harbour are a little more expensive though (I guess that is to catch the visitors from the Cruise ships which visit Kusadasi regularly).

There is also an area called "Ladies Beach" a couple of miles from the center of Kusadasi which is a little quieter but still has ample restaurants and shops. The prices here were slightly cheaper too.

Personally, I only did a couple of excursions. The Turkish bath and Jeep Safari which I can strongly recommend. There are other historical sites to visit.

Kusadasi is a lovely place if you have the right ghotel andlocation but we was not happy with our accomodation and food. If you travel away from the hotels the bars and restuarants are very nice and the food is lovely. If you like to Shop and get a bargian then this is the place to go!

Good for shopping, if that's your thing. Personally, I loved walking along the seafront with Turkish families and couples, late afternoon and evening. Not too much hassle, have had worse! If you go to Ephesus, take the dolmus from the town centre, then it's a ten minute walk when you get there. Don't be persuaded by the taxi drivers that it's too far to walk.

We went on the sail ahoy boat trip which was lovely, it was very chilled out day. Went into Kusadasi twice which was an experience, we got really hassled on the first occasion and not so bad on the second. Definately would go back to Turkey

Kusadasi is a great resort with things to do and see for al ages. Good restaurants, home of Ephesus. Do a daily boat trip from the Marina for about 25Tl including lunch, also have alook around Bird Island at the marina. Go the Market on a wednesday but haggle hard and shop around.
