one of the better hotels i turkey i have stayed in. it was truly inlusive nd the staff were not money grabbing. they were friendly and made sure that we had a good holiday. tthe location was the rooms were simple but spacious and they had verything we needed or a comfortable stay. the food was good, there was loads of choice and always sth we liked. the inclusive activities and entertainment were great and it inluded the pedalos and the banan boat even - this is th irst tie we have ever seen this included anyhere. the location was quite a way rom town which meant that it was on the quiet side and more suited to the mature couple.

very beautiful with lovely pools, water sports facilities were good including pedlos and banana boat and jet skies. private beach was quiet and the water was warm with shark nets. only bad point is the location is in the middle of nowhere so you cant really walk down the road to a town. the food was very nice, there was a large selection of different cultures and always something nice to eat, the deserts were delicious and you could eat as much as you wanted. there were lots of bars around the resort so you could get a drink from anywhere during the day. there were also a crepe chief who made crepes during the day which were very nice, and there were cake and tea available in the afternoon. i really enjoyed the holiday with my family and friends although we couldnt really go out on a night out in kusadasi. the entertainment at the hotel was mostly not english which wasnt very good for english speakers like us.

Wow! by far the best holiday i have EVER had! Facilities are all above parr, not just for children but also for adults too. Turkish bath and sauna were fabulous and the massages were thorough without being improper as soome can be. Entertainment team were welcoming to all nationalities and tried to involve everyone as much as possible, most entertainment is in french, but they do endevour to translate lots for English, German, Dutch and Italian guests. All staff are welcoming and friendly, and the Thomas Cook rep did his best to make sure all of our questions were answered efficiently.

I stayed in 2 hotels the Paloma club Sultan which I could not fault everything about the hotel was fantasic, the rooms, the staff and the facilities I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially families. The second hotel I stayed in the Grand Blue Sky was also nice with excellent facilities and a good location not too far from the resort centre. I visited various other hotels in the resort ranging from 2* upto 5* the smaller hotels are more central to the resort as to the bigger 5* hotels. I found all hotels were clean and that all staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I was impressed with the standard of accommodation and would be happy to return to any of the hotels I viewed.

The current brochure does not give an indication to the changes to this hotel that is now like a small village. The slides have changed and now a smalll aqua park exists with7 slides, all very fast and excellent for all ages. There is a magnificent panaromic pool like they show in adverts where you look like it goes over the edge.

All food is in 1 restaurant and surprisingly I found that food was not always avaiable with nothing avaiable 10am till 1pm and after 9.30 at night. With kids this did cause an issue as there were people on the door to check food was not took out. The food was fine, not as good as some hotels I have been to but I put weight on! Little selection for children but mine found something. The snack bar by the loud pool provided good selection 1 - 4.30pm. The rooms in the hotel were big, we got moved as we had 2 rooms in the outbuildings but not adjacent the manager quickly sorted this out. Some who were placed in the rooms far from the hotel got moved closer to the main building but the quality of the far out rooms was out of this world, plasma TV, large rooms etc, proberly to compensate from being so far from food and entertainment.

sun beds never a problem at the bottom loud pool but i believe at the panoramic it was but notices went up when we were there and towels were removed if reserved and left. Beaches good, 2 private ones for the hotel, watersports plenty all in and those payable were really cheap compared with others used in previous years. jet skis £21. All currency accepted Turkishlira and euros but surprisingly the Thomas cook reps asked for sterling for the trips. Kids club excellent but did have a very strange smell in the very cool room. I did comment but there was no change during our time there. French reps ruled the loud pool but the british reps had things going on all day but not as much in your face. Football soccor school. £25 for 6 sessions. Kids club extra times 6.30 - 8 sats choc attack slumber party weds 6.30 -10.30. Free clubs 10-12 14-16 16-18 due to numbers you could go to 1 a day and the 2-4 worked great for the sun rest foor the 9 year old. There is a turkish bath on site, packages available, if you have never been go for a sit in and watch the soap massages, then have one!! 20 euros.

In all a good holiday only marred by limitations on when food was avaiable.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday this summer at the Club Sultan. The hotel was lovely, right on the beach which was sand and the sea was very safe for children. The pool was very clean and a good size, with another pool with two water slides. There were plenty of sunbeds and reserving them was never a problem, we used to do this when we went down to breakfast at around 10am. There were plenty to choose from on the beach which we preferred. They did go a bit earlier around the pool, but it is only a two minute walk between the two and people didn't tend to hog beds all day so poolside ones would become free as the day went on.

We had a family room which was very clean and quite spacious with a fridge. The hotel works on an all inclusive basis and you could pick up bottled water from all the bars for the fridge. The soft drinks were proper Coke, fanta and sprite and the local beer and wine was very drinkable. The bar staff were very good and I can honestly say that I never queued for more than a couple of minutes for drinks. The food was fantastic, the main buffet restaurant had lots of choice and the kids had no trouble finding something to eat. In addition to the main restaurant there is a pool side snack bar which served burger and chips and spag bol, which of course the kids loved. There was plenty of nice fruit and the puddings in the evenings were out of this world. There were also three A la carte restaturants which you could visit during your stay and these all had very nice food also.

The hotel is about 1.5 km from Ozdere, where there are a few bars and shops. We didn't really see much of the hotel entertainment as we meet up with some other families and we all got together in the evenings for drinks on the roof terrace and made our own entertainment. The hotel had quite of lot of English guests, the other nationalities were French, Dutch, Belguim etc.

We spent a day at the Aqua Fantasy waterpark and this is a trip I would recommend to anyone with kids, it was a great day. We also went into Kusadasi a couple of times in the evening which is a must. Ephesus is only about 30 mins away and we went on a day trip there, I would say if you have kids that the half day trip would be enough as it is very hot.

For a family holiday this hotel is perfect, but if your children are older they may find it a bit quiet and prefer somewhere a bit more lively. Having said that there is a disco where all the older kids hung out.

We would all go back to the Club Sultan and in fact probably will in a few years to see what has changed. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Excellent views, Brillant accomodation, Beach is very nice. Very quiet resort in the middle of nowhere. Nearest shop is a 35 minute walk from the resort. You do have shops in the hotel but not alot of choice. The hotel is not catered for children or people who are fussy with food as most of the food is turkish or french.

Entertainment in the hotel is good for children and for most adults who just want a quiet holiday. People aged 18 - 25 i would not recommend this resort. The Rep was fantastic in every way possible. She helped solve loads of problems throughout our holiday.

Having read the review for 2003 we were a bit pessimistic about our holiday. However it is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting.

We found no shortage of glasses as previously mentioned and no-one as far as we were aware suffered from ";dicky"; stomachs. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and the Thomas Cook Rep (Yasmin) was absolutely brilliant, one of the best Reps we've met - any problem was soon sorted.

This is an all inclusive hotel but we found the choice of drinks very limited (beer, wine, vodka, gin or brandy plus soft drinks). We also found the food to be very limited (geared mainly for the french and russians (more of them than Brits).

The hotel is in a very quiet resort with nothing outside apart from two small shops and a bar. You can get a bus or taxi into nearby Ozdere which has a few more shops and bars. We sent into Kusadsi a few times by taxi (approx 45 min journey which cost about £28 return for the 4 of us)- this is a must. The hustle and bustle and shops are a sight to be seen. We did have a meal at the Green Garden in Kusadasi (brilliant and cost with tip + 3 drinks each approx £20 per couple. Entertainment was very limited (provided by the animation team) which started at 9.45 until 11.00 (away from the bar areas). There was a disco which started at 12.00 (we never went but couples we talked to said drinks were extremely expensive). It was extremely hot 40+ so would not advise people with young children to go at this time of year.

On the whole a very pleasant holiday - we certainly wouldn't do all inclusive again in Turkey as it is so cheap to eat out
