its ok but stay if your dumb, pool ok sunbeds fine My friend and I arrived at the hotel and the receptionist came out to the minibus and carried our bags all the way to our rooms! The attitude of the staff was very helpful. The bar/restaurant staff were very courteous. The food was really nice, with plenty of choice, Breakfast time there was a chef making fresh pancakes and fresh eggs (fried or omelette). Lunch and dinner there was plenty of choice - Salads, hot food, deserts to die for. At around 4:30 the chefs would serve at the bar - wraps, pizza, something different every day. The entertainment crew were very good. My friend and I are going back there for a second visit this year! The location was a bit

marmaris was good people in general very friendly. good for shopping as very cheap. we had some lovely meals out as we could not bring ourselves to eat in the hotel.

Ive been going to Marmaris for 13 years 3 times a year in most cases!! I just love the people, culture and the scenary!! just beautiful!

I dont tend to do the tourist thing anymore, well apart from the turkish baths and lazy day cruises, you have to do that at least, its just heaven!!!

Marmaris has got something for everyone, young, old, couples, families etc. etc. Try it!!

No resort as such as there was no beack just a jetty and a thin strip of grit . Marmaris town was typical Turkey - lots of clothes shops selling the same things . My one and only gripe were the shope owners who were a complete pain and got really shirty if you left without buying anything (likewise at Market) .

A long pebbley beach,overlooking Fethiye Bay,sunsets that you would kill for,loads of resturants,a few clubs,very lively in season,great atmosphere.

Situated close to both Hisaronu and Oludeniz an excellent resort that has a lot to offer, just be careful of the place you choose to stay.

Great place for a beach holiday,lots of resturants offering a variety of foods,couple of night clubs,beach is pebbley,but safe,great views out to sea.

Lovely friendly resort,although quiet in October,and alot of the businesses were closed or closing down.I would like to see it in the summer.There is alot to see and organised trips around the area,so it is a good centeral place to stay.

Very lively interesting town, Fish market is a must visit, history is very good, plenty to do around the harbour.

Calis beach is a small town near to Fethiye. It is very "British" in every respect. Most people speak English fluently and goods can be paid in Sterling, Euros and Turkish Lira (Although they actually prefer Stirling)There's not a lot to do at night other than go out for a meal and a drink (nothing wrong with that I hear you say). Some of the restaurants will lay on entertainment once or twice a week. We saw Turkish Dance troupes, belly dancers, pyrotechnic acts and some very impressive acrobatic performers. All of this is free or donation only.

There are loads of really great restaurants there and I won't bother recommending any because those that we used were all good. The food was so cheap and the drinks were about half of what you would pay in the EC. We stayed in the Pelin Hotel, which was nice and they had a "happy hour" every night from 21.00 until 01.30. Bottled beer was 3TL (about £1.30) and spirits were 4TL (about £1.75). Most places use optic measures of 40ml so the measures are larger than in the UK. Outside of the hotel drinks also were much cheaper than in the EC, Typical price for a large beer was about 2.5 to 4.5 lira or about £1.00 to £2.00.
