The beaches are ok, but pebbles not sand, the buses are great, not have to wait long for a bus to get you about

The place is definitely on the up... Good that the loud music along the front goes off at 12 but you can go to bar street if you want to drink/dance the night away!!

Market day is Tuesday. Though we enjoyed it, it was extremely hot! The old town of Fethiye is lovely to eat/drink in and to buy your souvenirs.

Icmeler review
"icelemere is a very nice resort"
resort to a friend
The resort has a lot to offer with resraunts and pubs but for the paty animals you can get the dolmus into marmaris for 2 lira each way untill 01.00 hous or come back by taxi for approx 35 lira, the beach is shingle but quite shallow for the kids to go in the sea.

Marmaris is a nice resort. The beach is fantastic, lovely and sandy. Plenty of good shops and bars to wonder round in the evening. Food is generally very good, really hot weather. It was a good choice.

The resort was like Blackpool in Turkey, everything was extrememly English, if this is what you like then it would be perfect. The transfer from airport to resort was about 1 and a half hours with very poor roads. All the bars had the same menus and there were few restaurants in Marmaris itself they were mainly bars.

Sarigerme not really worth visiting, small village not on seafront. Not much to say about Sarigerme.

Kaya Koy is a small, rural village about 10 minutes drive from Hisaronu and oludeniz. This meant we had beautiful countryside and peace and quiet, with the option of heavy nightlife only a short bus ride away. Kaya Koy itself is beautiful and the locals that live there very welcoming. Fantastic turkish pancakes only 3 minutes walk from the resort too!

The resort is very good. The nighllife is excellent. But local men are very creepy, always make sure your in a group if your female, as the men are not to be trusted.

Didn't really spend any time in the resort because it was an all inclusive hotel so we only visited one morning.

After many years of putting off going to Turkey, I must admit I was surprised how clean, green and friendly the place is. Yes, the restaurant/bar guys try there best to get you in, but a friendly no thanks is normally enough. Only had 1 bad experience with a horrible Turk in one of the jewellery shops, but the rest were lovely.

This is the most addictive holiday village i have ever been too, there are endless resturaunts and bars to chose from and the most beatiful coastline, with boat trips scuba diving, speedboat hire and activities only the turkish people can offer, we have been here now on 15 holidays and if i am luck i will see anothr 15 in a word SUPPERB!!!

Ovacik was 10 minutes walk to hissaronu and a 15 minute bus ride to olu de nez and fethyie. Ovacik is a nice quiet town but has pleny of bars and restaurants. Angels bar is good for entertainment on the main road to hissaronu, Mirarge bar and the Wishing Well restaurant across the road was good and did a good english breakfast. Hissaronu is great for all ages and the bars and restaurants at night where great. Olu de nez was good with the paragliders landing near the beach. The market at hissaronu is on Monday but is smaller than the fethyie one which is on a tuesday, There are plenty of boat trips but get your hotel to organised them, there better. Great bargains(t shirts, bags, Jewellery) But barter and they love english money so only take english with you then you can get better prices with the locals. Best meal we had was Del Boys in hissaronu and the worst was the English restaurant, small portions and the food was not good. Try the cocktails which are 2 for 10 lira but you have to get the same cocktail. The sangria at Alfrescos bar was great 25 lira for 1 ltr of 30 lira for 2ltrs got about 12 brinks out of the 2 ltr great value.
