I was dreading this holiday as we booked it fairly cheap and it was half board. I needn't have worried though as was a well run hotel with really friendly staff. The whole place was spotless. The room wasn't ideal for the 4 of us as it was just one room with 4 beds and a bathroom, however we knew what we were getting when we booked it. Rooms cleaned every day and sheets and towels left in lovely patterns such as a heart or a swan, sometimes with flowers sprinkled on. Breakfast was basic buffet style and same for tea, we didn't enjoy it and there was nothing really for my fussy daughter so we ate out after fourth day. Only had entertainment twice in the week and it wasn't up to much. Loads of day trips to do nearby and very cheap. Would definately recommend the jeep safari, about £65 for 4 of us, you get very wet and it's about 12 hours long but you don't get bored. There are lots of bars and restaurants along the front of Calis beach which is about a 5 minute walk from hotel. The U2 bar is very entertaining, the staff are mad, they pour alcohol along bar and light it, juggle fire bottles, dance on the tables and loads more, my teenagers loved it there, although the bar staff and waiters can be very friendly with the girls so keep an eye on them! It was our first time in Turkey and now we wonder why we've never been before it's so good. It can be lively but can be relaxing depending on where you choose to go or do. The people are so nice and friendly we are definately going back next year but we will try a different area.

There were 3 of us and we arrived in May for a month on half board. We were not expecting it to be as good as it was.The staff and management eager to please. This including cleaning staff and all kitchen staff. Management and reception staff all to eager to help you to enjoy your holiday. The food was of the highest standard and plenty of variety. The chef did a chefs special every morning and at dinner, cooking it there and then.We left many friends there and will go back again someday. We traveled with Travel Republic and found them very good. This was our second time with them.

OverallExcellent Resort

We did a number of boat trips and found them very reasonable. The 12 islands boat trip and the market trips up the coast to Gocek, with a boat called POPEYE, 10 out of 10. Local people were very friendly.

On arrival at the hotel at 6am we were very tired that is when we knew our holiday had started because our bags were took off us and taken to the room and put inside while we checked in. The maids were very helpfull and kept the room very tidy and made all sorts of paterns on the bed withe the towels and blankets. A couple of times flowers were left on the bed. The mattress was a bit hard but good on the back. The food was quiet good, although we only had meals at dinner time. Friends had evening meals and told us the were good quality. I found the position of the hotel a bit awkward for getting to the town because of the new road being put in. If you have children with you crossing it might be a bit hard. Around the pool there is plenty of space for sunbathing, with the poolbar having a foodbar next to it making for a easy day there. All the staff were very helpfull and nothing was a bother to them. It was a nice quiet spot with only the frogs singing to you on a night time. Overall the hotel was clean friendly and relaxing. I will be going back there for sure.

OverallVery Good Resort

My opinion on calis is that it is getting overrun by the English. Once a Turkish resort it is being spoilt by the amount of villas being built. This is a Turkish problem and must be addressed by them. On the sea front the restaurants were really good. Waite...

This was our first time to turkey, once again read all the reviews and worried sick.. NO need to be, in this resort the Turkish people were excellent we took a 1 year old blue eyed blonde boy who has never had so much attention, they genuinely love kids, even at the fethiye market there was a good friendly banter. yes they try to get you to buy there goods but once you said no they were fine,

The ";Hotel Pelin"; is a fantastic well run hotel, we were half board, food was excellent and plentiful, the waiters could not do enough for you.the hotel runs a card system for all your drinks and snacks and i never once felt i was paying for something i never had. The hotel pool during the day had plenty of sunbeds the pool was cleaned every night drinks and snacks are available around the pool with a smile from the staff., the rooms are spacious and adequate all with aircon which is no extra cost . all have balcony's.

Entertainment during the day was by bar man come d.j.and on evenings there was local acts belly dancers, Turkish folk dancers, break dancers etc.atmosphere was relaxed at all times. the hotel was made up of English, dutch, polish German and Turkish families, which all seemed to click, obviously most nationalities spoke English us lazy brits have no need to speak there languages,

We flew to airport Dalaman which was then about 45 mins to fethiye, approx. £40 each way for family of 6 - 9 temperatures were very hot, sunsuits for young children a must, On the sea front there is many bars and eating houses once again they try to tempt you in but not to pushy.
Excursions.. Jeep Safari be prepared to get wet and dirty, great day out for about £15 each, Quad bike excursion, para- glyding, boat trips, scuba diving and fishing, they will pick you up from your hotel and drop you back, there is plenty of people selling these trips, The beach can be a bit harsh for young children there is quite a steep fall off in the water, and small pebbles to shingle , it did appear windy on the sea front most day's which was nice for a cool breeze but beware you will still burn.

All in all an excellent holiday, i will return one day
