Nil Motel Reviews

We have always stayed at the Pine Hills in Hisaronu in Previous years but last year we felt as it is now more suited to the 18-30 holidaymaker we would try something differant this year.

We decided we would hire a car and do some touring around the Fethiye region. Some friends had recommended the Nil as a starting point and what a surprise we got when we arrived there, Our old friend Charlie from the Pine Hills was working there knew he was working in Calis but had been told it was at a different restaurant.

The Nil hotel is set in a beautiful location right on the beach front and the views are spectacular especially the sunsets over the sea. The owners Angel and Serdar are very congenial hosts and make you feel very welcome. The food is to die for, especially the Lamb shank the Lasagna and the Steaks melted in your mouth. All the staff were brilliant Tariq and Tefik (apologies if spelt wrong) and of course the ever wonderful Charlie still dancing on the bar bless him. So happy to hear he is going to be a dad.

We were gutted that we had only booked in for 4 days but they were the best 4 days of our holiday, next year we will book in for 2 weeks.

Second time to Calis but a first at the Nil that we booked privately through the wonderful Angel and Serdar. Most of the old staff are still there (Tefik) but with a few new additions Charlie, Burry and Baris. Charlie dancing on the bar with Tarik is one not to be missed. Sampled lots of great food in Calis and Fethiye but def best was Nil with great choices and nothing too much trouble for them. Our personel favourite was Lamb Shank and the steaks. Have already booked to stay at the Nil next May and Sept. Visited Olu Deniz and The Gorge. Markets great too Sunday in Calis and Tues Fethiye.

Our Accomadation was right on the Sea front with a fantastic Sea view could not have asked for better. Generally not got a bad word to say about Calis but the Nil Motel and Bar is out of this world, The Staff,The rooms and The food 'Bloody Gorgeous' as Angel would Say
