this hotel may have been good a couple of years ago but now there seems to be a dont care attitude towards guest and there needs. i arrived there 0145am the room they put us in was not clean, the sheets had been used the blankets were dusty and the toilet & shower were awful. We were tired and crashed by the time we spoke to other guest the following morning we realised what sort of establishment we had come to. We cleaned our room purchased beach and cleaned our toilet & shower unpacked and got on with our holiday. We complained to the rep who made sure we had clean sheets and a visit from the less then addiquate cleaner. We booked half board the buget for food was evident the buffet breakfast was very limited and the evening meal if you didn't eat chicken you would have been in trouble. Only two members of staff spoke English and only one of them was helpful. we spent most of our time out and away from the hotel and enjoyed the real Turkisk experience because what was going on at that hotel was not what Turkeys about.

The hotel/resort is really fantastic. The rooms could do with updating. We were lucky enough to get a hotel room. The bunglows are all on steep hills with lots of steps, not suitable for prams/buggies. We stayed near the spa and its a perfect location for the children. The main facilities are in the resort a couple of minutes walk but withinthe same complex. On arrival you will be given towel cards, DONT lose them, they charge you 15 dollars each to replace! There is lots to do and the staff are helpful, although not many speak english. You have guys with cameras walking around, who will take photos of your party and then you can view them and buy them. Be warned photos do cost. Entertainment is ok, its starts at 10pm - late in my opinion, the kids loved it. There is a kids disco about 8-45pm every night that lasts 15 mins. Its definately worth staying at this hotel, I would go back but when the kids get older. great for teenagers. Enjoy!

Favorite place in all of our travel.Very basic hotel, great value for money.Fantastic views.Drinks are pricey, we bought from the shops in town. If you don't fancy the walk into Fethiye, jump on the dolbus (local bus) Just start walking, they will ostly toot as they approach. Very cheap. If you want to go to Olu Deniz beach, ask them to stop near Dolmush Hill. The "sea" side of the lagoon once you have paid your entrance is the best part. For eating in Fethiye try the Turkish places for best food the Kervan & the Hanedan near to the big mosque are great. For boat trips without too many people look for Zeki on the main prom. His boats ,Olive Oil & Popeye are fab.

We have just returned and are very sad its over. This Hotel is fantastic and has everything you could possibly need. They have just thought of everything!! We went with our 22 month old so was a little apprehensive as the complex is so big with many steps, however if we can manage to get around with a little one and push chair you wont have a problem (we were in a bungalow the furthest away as well). You just have to keep a sense of humor as there are quite a few steps! or request a bungalow close to the facilities. The bungalow rooms were a little small but had every thing you need (including a fridge with mini bar) and there was only four apartments in each bungalow so pretty quiet. The view is amazing and the setting!!!!
The food is really good, the moonlit is fantastic and by far the best place to eat for your evening meal (you dont have to book either). We thought our little one was a fussy eater however he tried lots of new things here. We had the ice cubes, salad, icecream, all the meats with no signs of any food poising! (which I normally end up with). The staff are all friendly (with the exception on the odd grumpy one). The drinks are all really good with a very good selection and the cocktails very nice!
The pools are great with a quiet one and the other one with all the activitys going on. We had no problems with sun lounges and we arrived by the pool each day between 10-12 so we were not early! You get free beach towels each day so don't take your own. As the complex is so big you don't realise there are so many people there. There is a little bus running all the time around the complex which you can just hop on and off on if you are feeling a little lazy. There is a big mixture of nationalities at this hotel but it was never a problem as all are catered for. The hotel shop is expensive so buy any extra bits else where and take your lilo with you.
We did not have a big problem with mossies, was only bit on two occasions so just use your spray.
What more can I say but you need to visit here!!! I never normally go back to the same place again but we will be going back here!!!

the market in fethiye which is on all day every tuesday was massive, and worth the visit, always haggle though as they expect it and you can knock them down quite alot and they do better deals if you are paying with english money. the main shopping area is good too. there is a internet cafe which is 1 lira for a hour.
Turkey was always somewhere that never really took my fancy, but when my cousin came home after visiting letoonia wanting to return this year i decided to go along, well now my opinion has completly changed.

i had such a fantastic time, always plenty to do in this very large hotel, entertainment going on throughout the day such as water polo, football, darts, water gym etc, the evening shows were brilliant, all the animation team were great fun. 3 water slides going from the hotel into the sea. food was lovely and plenty to choose from. 24 hour all inclusive so after the disco finishes at 2am you can go down to the panorama bar untill 8am if you wish! there is a shuttle boat from the hotel into fethiye which used to be free but it is now 10 lira return or a taxi costs 20lira each way. all the hotel staff were very plesent and friendly.
be aware though that because the hotel is so big you may have a room quie a walk away from the main areas (5-10 mins walk and lots of steps), but that wasnt a problem for us.
the only one snag is that the hotel has more russians than english visit and they are very rude, so as long as you dont let them push in and you ignore the way they talk to bar staff that you will be ok, it did get a bit annoying though. but saying that we did still meet lots of friendly english people!
cant wait to return there, hopefully in 2years time
billys beach is great, so peaceful and the food is brill.

The worst holiday ever. the hotel should have been a 4 star all inclusive, what a joke. More like a 2 star if that. one day you get water and the next you do not. reception staff did not care. inclusive did not include all drinks or food. had to eat out most of the time as the food was terrible, worse than school dinners. bar staff were more interested in the young girls and dancing on the bar sexually with each other. surpose to be a family hotel, it is not. the rep did not care, she was a total waste of space.

Fethiye as a great mix of bars and restaurants but not too lively. Tuesday market in Fethiye is a must see, there are some great bargains. A definate trip is a boat tour. There are many available along the harbour, we went with Captain Midnight Ali on his boat "Midnight" and lunch is included. A very entertaining day (midnightali.webs.com) Although Fethiye does not have a beach, Olu Deniz and Calis do, which are just a short journey away.
This is a great apartment with fabulous views. Situated just a short distance to the the local Dolmus bus stop it is great to visit nearby Olu Deniz and Hisaronu (although Hisaronu is not for the feint hearted at night!)

We travelled on an early afternoon flight, and paid for the Premium seating, sounds good but people constantly queing for the front toilet still made it a squash. Our luggage came out last as well, but the check in process was excellent with the very short queue saving us time.
We arrived early evening, and were put in a taxi with another couple direct to the hotel - this took an hour rather than the 2 hour normal transfer.
Club Letoonia consists of a main hotel location and lots of seperate 6-8 room units spread across the complex and hidden within trees, lots of varnished pine! The good side was that you were hidden from veiw and not overlooked, but our room was D5, and our journey was 105 steps from reception, this would not suit everyone but there are rooms with less and some with a few more. So ask your agent to give you some idea where your rooms may be, there were some people more senior to us who struggled. There are smooth service roads that link the areas and restuarants. you can eat and drink something somewhere all of the time, the variety of fare at the buffets was extensive well presented and continually replenished for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel drinks were fine, there's no tag/wristbands here so you can get a round in rather than everybody getting up. Queuing at the bar was quiet at times and busy others, forget the nicesties of being patient, as soon as you make eye contact speak immediatly - our fellow holidaymakers (Russians) don't comply to our way so you either up your game or wait longer. The hotel is so spread out that people just dissapear, so it never seems crowded, lots of sunbeds line the beaches and sea level walkways and theres loads around each pool area. Taxis into Fethiye cost around £7-8.00, or there is the hotel boat on the hour, Fethieye its self is a small town with a harbour. There are the usual organised tours, and the same by the harbour, the hotel also runs some of their own. I went paragliding in Oludeniz - organised by First Choice with Skysport, this was a jump off a 6500ft mountain and a 45 minute descent, Skysport are well organised and it felt very safe, DVD's of your flight £20.00.
Do you go back to the same place? - with this hotel you could, easily. The staff were all very helpful, the buildings, accomodation, and facilities all in good condition and being continually cleaned and swept, glasses and plates quickly removed.

I went to turkey with great expectations as i had heard so much about the place.
Unfortunately we were too late to book any transfers so we had to decide what to do on arrival. Usually our tour operators would be able to help once we got to the airport on destination but they were totally useless. Our operators were gold trail and were very unhelpful in getting any form of transportation to the hotel, so we were stranded at the airport at 4am with amy 4 year old daughter. We eventually got a taxi but he could not speak a word of english and we ended up driving around for two hours instead of the 45mins that it should have taken. The hotel was not clearly marked and was very difficult to find.
We eventually got there but again hardly any members of the hotel staff could speak any english. We had this communication problem throughout my stay as hardly any staff could speak any english. We were just left to get on with it ourself. The rooms were ok for a 4 star hotel and clean which was good. The hotel boasts more than it can offer in writing.
The food was good but we were left everyday guessing what we were eating as nothing was labelled. On the last day and thank god it was the last meal my husband had a pleasant surprise in his salad- a live caterpillar. The waiter could not say much as he could not speak any english. The staff were all very nice including the waiters but it was a shame that they could not speak english. The pool area was very nicely laid out with a very nice pool bar. They could have made more of an effort with the dining area as there was no air conditioning and we always had an invasion of fleas on the food.
Two days into the trip i had my mobile phone stolen from my room, i had reported the incident 5 times and yet i had no one take any notice. I eventually had to go and see the manager myself and he was very unhelpful, did not seem bothered that i was a guest in his hotel. He even suggested wheter i had locked my doors and also considered using their safety deposit boxes at the reception! As a paying guest i should be able to trust leaving my belongings in the room and as for locking my rooms the doors do not close unless you lock it. I would not reccomend any one to go to his hotel, and it also too far to escape to the town.
The private beach was also a dissapointment. We had to make alternative arrangements outside the hotel to make this holiday enjoyable but this hotel was a waste of money

And I LOVED it!
The location is absolutely beautiful - it is off the beaten track, right on the marina - a more peaceful haven I have never visited.
Ali, one of the owners is one of the best hosts I have met and the food at the hotel is delicious and reasonably priced.
The pool is large and the views amazing.
The hotel overlooks a working boatyard, but this just adds to the overall feeling of authenticity.
Do not expect any luxury, but for £9 per night just lie back and enjoy the atmosphere.
There is a Dolmus every 10 minutes into Fethiye which is a lovely town and you can basically get anywhere from there.
