the market in fethiye which is on all day every tuesday was massive, and worth the visit, always haggle though as they expect it and you can knock them down quite alot and they do better deals if you are paying with english money. the main shopping area is...
the market in fethiye which is on all day every tuesday was massive, and worth the visit, always haggle though as they expect it and you can knock them down quite alot and they do better deals if you are paying with english money. the main shopping area is good too. there is a internet cafe which is 1 lira for a hour.

The worst holiday ever. the hotel should have been a 4 star all inclusive, what a joke. More like a 2 star if that. one day you get water and the next you do not. reception staff did not care. inclusive did not include all drinks or food. had to eat out ...

Fethiye as a great mix of bars and restaurants but not too lively. Tuesday market in Fethiye is a must see, there are some great bargains. A definate trip is a boat tour. There are many available along the harbour, we went with Captain Midnight Ali on his boat "Midnight" and lunch is included. A very entertaining day (midnightali.webs.com) Although Fethiye does not have a beach, Olu Deniz and Calis do, which are just a short journey away.

This is a great apartment with fabulous views. Situated just a short distance to the the local Dolmus bus stop it is great to visit nearby Olu Deniz and Hisaronu (although Hisaronu is not for the feint hearted at night!)

Fethiye is a great destination. If you take a boat tour, I would highly recommend Captain Midnightali, www.midnightali.webs.com. He is moored opposite the Fethiye Cafe at the Paspatur. Also the Kismet bar is well worth a visit.
