this hotel was quite spectacular as regards views over the bay.The restraunt situated downstairs is open air, buffet style basic but plentifull turkish buffet.the best bit is you are overlooking the bay of fetiye with the yatchts and fishing boats and cruise ships in sight, its quite relaxing and you could sit ther forever.hotel staff are brilliant will do anything you ask and nothing is too much trouble.it is run by a brother and sister call Batu and Banu, banu has a georgeous little dog called cookie, you will fall in love with him.
hotel and rooms are spotless with excellent maid service, plenty of clean towels and twice weekly change of bedding.air con is a must we went in june and the heat was intense, they only charge £1 per day so was well worth it to keep cool. The walk from the hotel into the main drag takes about 10 mins if you turn right at the marina you will end up in the shopping area if you carry on along the marina, you will see many restaraunts, the best one we found is THE MARINA, excellent food and on a friday night there is turkish night ,great dancers and of course belly dancer.we reccomended it to everyone.look out for HAGI he is the local shoe shine he makes himself known to everyone and i must say he does a great job.
not many bars if you just want a drink, you will find it the resort consists mostly of restaraunts.it is a working town and very busy with local turkish people ,walk to the end of town via the back road and you will see on the right hand side of you in the mountain are the LYCEAN tombs .you can climb up the mountain for a closer look with a small charge to get up there, what a view.
Booked with Thomson, good flights, excellent reps, approachable and knowledgeable, particularly our Turkish rep at the hotel, whose name I've forgotten - sorry!

Comfortable, clean, friendly small hotel in great location overlooking bay and marina. Peace and tranquilty only marred by the noise from the mosque being built over the road.
Lots of wonderful cuisine to be had in Fethiye. Try buying your own fish in the market and getting it cooked at one of the restaurants around the market. Our favourite, in the fruit market, is a small establishment run by Rukia and her friendy parents. We had good, simple freshly cooked food, an ice cold beer and luscious fruits to finish. What more could we ask for - superb!
All in all - great!

Just returned from the Yacht Plaza Hotel - what a fantastic holiday.
Lovely Hotel run by lovely people - our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the gorgeous Fethiye Bay (we had 2 balconies!) The staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is taken in an open-air restaurant overlooking a jetty - what a great start to the day! There is a large pool, which was never crowded and gardens leading to a patio area, again overlooking the bay, which was a lovely place to sit and just relax and watch the occasional turtle. Fethiye is a working town so can get a bit busy but the Marina is a good place to cool down sitting at a restaurant watching the people walk by in the evening.
There is no beach at Fethiye but Chalis beach is only a short distance away by Dolmus as is the beautiful Olu Deniz and there are loads of little secluded beaches to find if you hire a Jeep, as we did. Some of the roads are a bit rough but it adds to the fun!!
I highly recommend this Hotel and Fethiye as a base for exploring this wonderful part of Turkey.
