Oh dear, where to start! I have literally just got back from my holiday from Marmaris earlier this morning and the first thing I wanted to do was warn the rest of the world NOT to book a stay here. Firstly, we arrived at the hotel to be greeted by someone who barely spoke a word to us and could not answer any of our questions. The guy took my passport details etc etc then gave us a key and a remote control for the aircon. Sadly, he failed to mention it would cost us an extra 55 YTL. Luckily, we asked first he muttered the price. We declined. Not suprisingly, other guests in the hotel were unaware they would be charged for the aircon when they left, so please bear this in mind. Perhaps our stay would have been better with the aircon as I will later get to. The hotel has 7 floors and suprise suprise, no lift! The first fear of the holiday came when the hotel staff (who at the time were sat around doing nothing but staring at young girls) did not so much as offer to help us take all our luggage to our 4th floor room. Fair enough, its not their job but you do expect a little courtesy considering it was just me and my friend (both 21 yr old females) staying. After about 5 minutes of stuggle up the pitch black stairs, the receptionist man helped me mate carry her bag. Perhaps he was angry we declined the aircon? Who knows! After trying to open the bedroom door for a good 5 minutes (dodgy lock, had to leave 5 minutes early every outting to ensure we had time to lock it) we entered the room. Very small and basic but looked ok! We'd been to Marmaris 3 times previously and had always been Self Catering rather than B&B so perhaps without the kitchen etc thats why it seemed so small. Not sure if they're all the same but our room had 2 beds, table, dresser with mirror, balcony with 2 broken dodgy chairs and a bathroom with sink, mirror, toilet and shower (no cubicle just a shower head on taps in the corner of the room). It was very basic, but didn't cost us THAT much so on first thoughts it was ok. Anyway, after a few hrs we noticed the things that werent quite right: The toilet did not flush. Absolute nightmate...had to use the shower switched on full power to flush it. Oh god!! The maid changed the sheets and towels only once during the whole stay 7 night stay. Perhaps this is acceptable? But when its 45oC and you're sweating like a pig in a greenhouse, you could do with some clean sheets. ADVICE: JUST DO NOT STAY HERE, REGARDLESS OF PRICE!
4th time in Marmaris. It;s a fantastic place to holiday for all ages. Something for everyone!! Prices were creaping up yearly but a massive jump up this year! Still cheaper than the UK though and the weather is fantastic!
Not recommended, room very dirty. Hotel basic, staff friendly (sometimes a bit too friendly)!! Pool didn,t have a shallow end. Food average. Wouldn't stay here again

Would recommend this Hotel to anyone as the staff were all very friendly and location was perfect. Beach about ten minutes walk and bazzar about fifteen.
