We have just returned from 2 weeks at Club Palm and can only agree with other reviews and reitorate Please Please do not go to this hotel There are not enough sunbeds (towels going on beds at 12.30 at night) There are not enough dining chairs and people have to eat their evening meal sitting on sunbeds. If you want a shower please have one before 5.00 pm because otherwise it will be cold or sometimes no water at all. Durng the entire 2 weeks our bed linen was not changed and we had to ask for a toilet roll that took 8 hours to arrive. Housekeeping arrive at 6.30 pm knowing you will refuse their service as you are getting ready for the evening. The food is o.k. if you like boiled eggs for breakfast and chicken every day with flies constantly around. The staff are happy to put ice in your glass and cut the bread using their hands. If you leave any bread they put it back with the other so has prbably been handled by 4 different people. No sign of any staff wearing gloves. Glasses are mostly plastic which are quite sharp against your lips and are not washed properly, just rinsed out and used again. The bar closed at 11.00 pm regardless of anyone queueing - they refuse to serve. The Reception staff seem to be o.k. until you have a problem. Then they don't seem to understand English. Please don't go because you think that you are getting a bargain but you will be going to the beach each day because there are no sunbeds and going out to eat in the evening because the food is so awful. This is a hotel catering for Turkish people - the 'foreigners' are a bonus but are not catered for in any way. I can only presume their standards are much lower than what we expect as Europeans. It would never make a 3 star anywhere else. We love Turkey and have stayed in Marmaris twice before but seen nothing like this hotel.

well what can i say! this hotel was lovely and clean the staff bent over backwards to help were they could the best hotel i have been in so far.the bar stays open till about 11pm so after that its a case of find your own drink there are lots of bars and resturants to be honest its quite cheap out there. the food was nice i ate it and i am quite picky people were suprised that they didnt serve "ENGLISH" food well if thats what your looking for go to butlins instead, they do serve chips and sausages at break time in the afternoon,in the mornings be quick at reserving a sunbed although there are a few at high season the are gone quickly! all in all i would go back to this hotel, cheers guyus for a fantastic holiday

We flew to Marmaris on 20th September 2007. We prebooked a transfer through Yasil Dalyan - this took 4 hours. (Tip: take a taxi only 40 and only takes an hour!) Our first impressions of Club Palm were good looked clean and tidy and reception staff were very helpful and told us all we needed to know. We'd requested a second floor room direct with the hotel and this is what we got but when we arrived they had twin beds and we preferred a double so called down to reception and we were changed within 5 minutes to the fourth floor but this was no problem as there was lift. Food was OK chicken, rice and chips and a variety of salads, soups and breads. We ate here a few nights and as it was so cheap to eat out we did that as well. I recommend Van Goghs and the one next door. Roast dinner was beautiful! The beach is a 5 minute walk but it's nothing special very rocky! Free sun beds though if you buy a drink! You need to get down to the pool early if you want a good positioned sun bed but we were going down at around 11 and we could still get a sun bed! Pool is big enough for the hotel and always looked clean! There is a shop/hairdressers and Turkish bath and sauna at the hotel. I had a massage and it was lovely. The snacks usually come out about 5 and is chips and like spring rolls! I would go back to this hotel. It is basic but for the price we paid we had a lovely time.

if ur thinking of going her one dont, the hotel is rubbish food disgusting and rooms filthy. we were ment to be staying in the baris and this was supposed to be up grading us cos the baris was full ( why take the booking in the 1st place?????). anyway back to club palm the Hotel from the outside looks loverly but inside the rooms are a different story 1st room we were put into was a tiny corner room and i wouldn,t have bathed a dog in the bathroom it was filthy anyway got moved and that room was bigger but not any cleaner and the balcony door did not lock and was never fixed dispite asking. We were bed and breakfast and there was never any cups any morning we bothered going down with staff standing around doing nothing!!!!!!!!! food consisded of bread cereal (cornflakes or musili n something that looked like coco pops!!) cold meat cheese left lying on plates with just a fan blowing on it to keep cool yuck glad we were,nt all inclusive as most guests were as by wot other said the food was just as bad for rest of meals, pool area was ok seemed to be kept cleanish most of the time staff were quite rude and seemed to wear same clothes day in n day out every unhygenic especially when serving food. hotel owner came in late one night shouting the odds at staff this was at 1am not very proffesional and quite scary for guests. loved the resort of marmaris plenty places to eat n drink and lots to do so will certainly be back but definatly wont be going to club palm.

flying with ONURAIR was the biggest dissappointment to start with extra small seatin area revolting food miserable, arrogant staff toilets disgusting no paper. transfer not bad. hotel well where do we start, even though we never saw BASIL FAWLTY i am sure he trained all the staff with the exception of ALI the turkish massage boy and general dogsbody. our room was booked for 3 adults after arguing about the size of room and 1 campbed we asked for apartment which was granted for 140 t/lira we aggled as we were told to do and paid extra 100 t/lira for room space it was worth it BUT the manager said room could be noisy roundy boys in room above no complain.most nights it was normal noise under circumstances pool bar below us and your average drunken chit chat quite entertaining however on the 5 night the noise was horrific went on till 5 o/clock in morning. we asked about all day to find out what happened eventually found out it was management meeting that turned into a fight staff members were sacked hotel guest were told to f... off for complaining it was bedlam at the asylum. the turkish dont seem to have grasped the idea of all inclusive it cannot be done on the budget that we paid. breakfast was fine we ate that most days. lunch was fine once or twice salads fine dinner dont bother warm salads no cooling facilities vegetarian option had sausage in it kind of sum up their knowledge of food slop or sloppy. getting drinks was very tricky you either had to shout at the top of your voice because of loud music or flirt with the little t..t behind the bar to boost he,s ego or drag him away from the younger ladies giving him the hump. this hotel had the potential to be a lovely tranquill resort but the management and staff seriously let it down. ichmeler trip on dolmus bus last stop loely beach restaurant opposite owner amanda very lovely lady waiter rushide the funnist turk i,ve ever met great attitude he made our holiday dalyan mud bath must do brilliant day out except hijacked to a carpet factory yawn turtle beach lovely. would go back to turkey but NEVER MARMARIS,my friend had her credit card pickpocketed and scammed FOR £1100.00 hopefully insurance will pay out but it ruined the trip for her BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN IN SHOPS we never noticed the card was stolen for 2 days actually taken out of her purse all we can remember is her being hasseled by a boy for her phone they was all over her talking at once hassel hassel hassel invading her space in the end she had to shout at them to clear off that would have been the only oppotunitie the had. CRIME RATE HIGH IN MARMARIS WE KNOW WE WERE AT POLICE STATION. much better places to visit in turkey

Just back from another trip to Marmaris.
Club Palm is cheap and cheerful. The Hotel really doesnt have much of an idea about how a hotel should be run - we and many of the guests were in the apartment block but were given All Inclusive bands on arrival - so cheers for the free drinks etc..

The aprtments are spacious but very dated - ours was clean and ok.

Food was alright but boring and at times looked like gruel from Oliver! Homemade soup was best bet.
Bar service was pretty poor - i waited 15 minutes to be served one night - tip - send your wife.

lots for kids including slides and decent pools - beds were available - but the hotel was half empty - set you alarm clocks if it gets full.

Guests were rough and ready. There were frequent fights, arguments and the usual grannie out grabbing a turkish waiter - the usual mix of Brits abroad. Manners werent always on display.

Marmaris was quiet and the hassling has been stopped - as have the bars - many were closing around midnight in the residential areas.

All in all Club Palm is ok. Its not the Hilton but hey you've probably paid very little or on a late deal.

We in Marmaris all the time - there are worse places to go.
Would go back to Club Palm if the price was right!

8/10 We were slightly worried when we booked this holiday as we couldn't find any reviews on this hotel but we looked on the hotel's website and decided it looked nice enough.
It was really good, probably better than we expected. In the hotel itself the rooms were normal for a 3* clean, small bathroom with shower, TV, small fridge, air conditioning.

The food in the hotel was really good, but be aware it is mainly Turkish food (what you'd expect going to Turkey!) Some people from Manchester were complaining it was rubbish as they did not serve English breakfasts or chips!!! Plenty of bread, rice, pasta, salads soup and two main courses each night, such as grilled meats or casseroles etc, although desert was a bit of a let down if you have a sweet tooth as they only serve melon and local cakes which are dripping with syrup (not too pleasant). Plenty of resturants in the town that sell English food if thats what you prefer.

The hotel is about 2k from the main town. The hotel is situated about 100yds from the main road which heads into the town centre, you can easily catch a bus which costs 1.25 YTL, about 60p, the buses come every 3-5 mins and run till 1am or a taxi costs around 15 YTL about £5.
In the main town itself there are so many shops and resturants, if you chose to eat out which we did twice go down to the restaurants by the marina for the best fresh fish you will ever taste in your life! Excellent value for money, four 2 course meals, 2 bottles of wine and a couple of rounds of beer cost us 190 YTL about £20 each!
Beer Street is situated just behind the marina, we only went into 3 bars/clubs but we were told there were hundreds! We had such a wicked time in the ones we went into, make sure you insist on a free shot to the door man!! I can't remember much else about that night, sorry :)

Ladies be aware if travelling on your own as the Turkish shop keepers and waiters can hassel you quite a bit to come into their premises but they dont seem to do it so much when your partners are with you! The beach in Marmaris isn't wonderful, the sand is grey and stoney and very very hot!! There are quite a lot of sunbeds on the beach so it can be difficult to play bat and ball etc.
The weather was fantastic, 35-40 degrees not a cloud in sight everyday.
There is a good water park high up on one of the hills,it looks down on the town and the bay, stunning views, not s big as some I've been to in Spain but we didn't have to que to go on any of the water slides, cost £14 each to get in its a must do!

One day we went on a boat trip, it was an fantastic day out, we left the marina at about 10am and sailed out to 2 beautiful bays, with the sea breeze to cool you down you can relax on the sunbeds and take in the scenery then jump off the boat when you stop and swim around in the crystal clear sea! We had lunch on board, chicken pasta dish, we had to pay for drinks, then after lunch we visited 2 more bays then headed back to Marmaris for 6 o'clock It only cost us 45 YTL per couple and we got a brilliant tan from it without breaking into a sweat!!

On the first day in the hotel we had a turkish bath, you can't leave Turkey without having one, sauna, face mask, scrub and massage for only 30 YTL each! Better to do it on the first day so you get a better tan!!
The local people are extremely friendly we went back to one bar 3 times because the staff there made us laugh so much, they are always eager to start up a conversation with you.

All in all we had a really good time and I would recommend Club Palm as a hotel and Marmaris as a resort.

When we arrived at the airport the coach arrived and there where not enough seats so my niece had to sit on my lap for 1.5 hours, which was a safety issue. When we got to the hotel there where 2 single beds in a room, which should have had 4 in it. My husband was given another room to sleep in and our daughter had to sleep on the floor in with myself and my niece what a start to the holiday.

If you want to lose weight please go to this hotel as all you have is salad, rice, pasta and one meat dish at meal times but they have to serve it just incase you put too much on your plate. We spoke to the owner and told him there was not any food for the children to eat so he put out some chips on several occasions and quess what everyone had on there plate chips. We spent about £350.00 eating out which was not acceptable we have been on many all inclusive and have never come back from holiday weighing less then when we went and I am only 8.12 stone in any case. Hide your toilet roll because if you have one sheet on it the maid will not give you anymore.

The all-inclusive bar finishes at 11.00, which is ok, but if you go to the bar at 10.45 and don't get served until 11.01 he will pour out your drinks then charge you for them. Remember only one drink for yourself at a time because if you order more then he will ask you whom they are for. Make sure you are up at six o clock in the morning because if you are not you wont get a sunbed with a cushion on it.

If you do happen to go to this hotel with perfect choice and complain don't waste your phone call because I got a very rude response

Club palm hotel, all inclusive holiday, well what can i say the place is clean, but small, the staff are ruled over by a horrible manager, who we had many rows with over the standard of the food which was very poor, nothing for the children to eat,no ice cream as stated in the deal, and the food was dished out to us,so we couldn't take to much.
the all inclusive bar was from 10 til 23-00 but in reality it was when the manager felt like it,and when it was shut you cant get a drink not even water.
entertainment was poor, above all not a good place to stay.
also perfect choice didn't care to much, the rep turned up only twice in 2 weeks, his english was poor, and at times he was very rude, when we got back we spoke to the owner of perfect choice, who was very rude to my wife on the phone, Not Recommended.
