Just got back from a week at this hotel and actually booked based on the great reviews here. Booked direct to hotel; got a fantastic Family suite, there are only a few; and saved a packet on Thomson price. I got off the plane at 17:20 and was at the hotel by 18:40 having a beer. This being to having booked transport through hotel direct. A driver with my name on a board waiting outside arrivals, luggage loaded and gone. Just my family of 2 adults 2 kids on board. Fantastic. The hotel has probably the best selection of food I have ever come across. Usually 2 soups,a choice of about 20 salad dishes, 5 or 6 main courses and usually a grilled selection on top (chicken, kebabs etc) A choice of desserts Mr Kipling would find hard to beat ( I reckon about 20 again, fruit included) Drinks are the obligatory house wines and beers but very complimentary with every meal, after a hard day in the sun by the pool.Soft drinks are Sprite lemonade, Fanta ,Coke and cordial juices amongst others. The service is excellent and the staff are very polite and you feel they are actually enjoying their job compared to waiting on staff here in good old blighty. There is a multiple cuisine restaurant on the complex but there is a surcharge for this of 5 lira per person. Very well worth it. You will need to book at peak times of the season. The entertainment staff are a great bunch, particularly 'kenny', 'Eddy'and 'Hakkan'(forgive the spelling)They do a great job in the day around the pool but the night time entertainment is a bit 'wooden'. Usually a meandering play with a few decent songs thrown in to gee up the audience from their slumber. But the kids enjoyed it. A couple of slightly negative points now. You have to queue for poolside loungers at busy times as we found out. Apparently it can get quite nasty at very busy times with people barging each other out the way for 'My lounger'. We had to get there at about 07:45 wait in the queue, wait for the entrance barrier tape to come down and then leg it for loungers. A bit 'Teutonic' if you ask me.Hans must be rolling off his lounger!! The hotel really needs a bigger pool lounger area to eradicate this madness. Secondly this hotel gets a lot of repeat bookings and it felt as if the whole hotel knew each other and we were playing gooseberry, which was sightly uncomfortable especially as the size of some parties were 10 plus. Only small points but mentionable nonetheless.
The resort of Olu Deniz is a small and friendly resort that is unthreatening as some Turkish resorts can be. The beach outside the hotel is of a fine shingle and the sea is a touch choppy for little uns. Also there are rocks into the sea in some places and ...

Just got back after 10 days vacation at (July 10th for 10 days) Belcekiz Beach All Inc with Thompson holidays, 6 in party ages:- 53,51,23,21,18,16 with 3 rooms. Hotel is very good clean well kept, rooms a bit small but is not a problem as very comfortable and functional(AC conked out, once I reported it and same day fix). All food and service is good with plenty of choice with a roast beef/Chicken dinner on Sunday. Entertainment team 2008 are amaterish and at times were not thinking of the young children present (at times sex inuendoes etc) but on the whole worked very hard to please all.The hotel had every thing you needed. Out side of the hotel shops were selling expensive rubbish, food was expensive and you have to drink plenty of water because it's a very Hot & humid climate. We enjoyed are vacation. We may go back.

Just back from a week at the Belcekiz Beach, it was the best holiday my family have ever been on. The hotel was excellent, very clean, lovely room, right next to the beach, food was amazing, plenty of choice and the best Sunday roast outside England! The pool was clean and no issues getting a sun bed as there were plenty available. The entertainment was a bit amateurish but the staff tried hard. The service from the bar was second to none, I am sure I had a magic beer glass that filled it's self up! Olu Deniz is quite a small resort, with plenty of shops and restaurants, the Turkish people appear a bit pushy for us Brits but once you talk to them they are very friendly. All in all amazing country and fantastic hotel.

This being our third visit to this hotel during the past three years, i have to say how disapointed we were on this occasion, the level of service in 2006 was second to none as was 2007 but this year popularity seems to have gone to its head, staff are employed on a monthly basis to learn english which made ordering drinks a night mare and after a 20 miniute wait wrong drinks were served, i have also never experienced people queing for sun loungers at 7:30 in the morning on our last 2 visits i could not wait to get home to book for next year but not this year, we as a family have always respected this resort. Well belzeki please get your act together as we would love to return .
olu deniz is a breath taking resort with fantastic turkish people,
