We have just returned from a week at Hotel Tlos and had a very good value for money break. If you want 4 star luxury & food choices this is not the place for you, so don't go and then moan all the time, you get what you pay for. If you go to Turkey don't expect bacon - it is a muslim country & not everyone wants chips for every meal!! The staff here work very hard & it is they who make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are extremely basic but again if you book for a bargain don't expect the best! Other guests at this hotel can be the main problem with door slamming & little respect for others staying there & the constant moaning about the restaurant. However, didn't see too many empty plates or lack of bums in seats at mealtimes!! Overall if you want a cheap break in the sunshine this is the place to go on a budget.

There were many traditional bars (The Hubbly Bubbly Restaurant is a must) nearby although for nightlife what can I say Hisaronu rocked. It took us approximately 10 minutes to get right into the centre of the town. Most nights we did not get back to the apartment until the early hours. Whatever your food preferance was you could find it here, Chinese, Indian, Italian and the list goes on.
There was also a dolmus service to Olu Deniz lagoon which is absolutely fantastic. Brilliant for water sports and sun bathing although it does get quite hot. The market at Fethiye was also reached by dolmus we did a spot of shopping and bagged loads of bargains

I stayed at this apartment in July and had one of the best holidays ever. There were six adults sharing the apartment and it was plenty big enough. We all had a double bedroom, unfortunately for my boy friend and me my parents snatched the Master Bedroom and we shared the twin room but hey this was o.k.
The apartment was located in Ovacik just on the outskirts of Hisaronu in a small complex of 11 other apartments. Most days we had sole use of the pool. There was a large terrace were we dined and shared a few drinks.
Not a lot happening in Ovacik, but a short bus ride took you to where you wanted to go, but it is very peaceful and not far from bars etc if that is what you want.

Been to Turkey for the last 3 years but first time in Ovacik and the Artemesia. We can honestly say this was the best, the hotel was fantastic, food great, the rooms were plenty big enough, cleaned every day, clean sheets and towels almost every day. The staff can't do enough for you, we took advantage of the free up grade to half board with staying in September and the food was plentiful and fab. Don't like going to the same place but will definately go there again. Our only complaint was the rep, never really saw her, but to be honest we didn't need her but people who did were not too happy but apart from that, fantastic!!!!!!

hisaronu is great for the whole family and for young teenagers who like ro have a great time!! we stayed just outside hisaronu in ovacick the hotel is great all the staff are all wonderfull, there is a water park based in our hotel and if you stay here you get free access all the time there are 6 big thrilling slides here for everyone to enjoy. i have been to turkey 5 times now and we come to the same place evry year we always come on a family holiday here and evryone enjoys it. most people that you meet ove here are regulars saying they come here every year. we stay in the same hotel every year and it is in good location for fethiye, olu deniz and hisarou if your wanting an early night with a few bars lovley reastraunt and lovely views of the beach olu deniz is the place to come there is a dolmus (bus) that comes every 5 mins and only costs about 20p the reastraunts in olu deniz are all very nice, all the turks do try get you into there reastraunt but dont be and offended by it they are all soooo nice. olu deniz is the most popular for the day time there is an aboloutley gorgeous beach called blue lagoon there are lots of water sports to do down there and lots of very cheap shops. fethiye is best for its market you can find all sorts of things in here like lacoste and nike all the top makes for very cheap prices! fethiye isnt a very popular town for the tourists, its only made up of shops and apartments the market is great though a must! Then we come to hisaronu it is my favourite lots of very nice shops which are open till 12am theres lots of bars and clubs along this strip and it is always very lively the bars are very suitable for young children to enjoy themselves they have childrens cocktails menus and everyone is sooo nice they will enjoy themselves alot. this strip isnt rough with drunken men or even women roaming the streets. there are lots of foam parties on which i love and i always meet loads of people over here!open til 6am while your there you may want to book a trip there is paragliding, jeep safari which is a must it is breath taking i loved it, lots of boat trips which are very exciting, quad biking which is pretty cool, horse riding, go karting, bowling and lots more! my fave bar this year was attika you meet lots of people in there that are from england, wales, it is full of young teenagers that like to party, im going back again next year with my family and cousins around july 17th i think soo get over here youll love it Promise.

Just back from a 7 night stay at Hotel Greenland. Hotel was nice and clean and the rooms comfortable. Air Con was included in the cost. Food although well cooked and presented was limited. Didn't try the salad of Lambs Brains !! Main Swimming pool area (There are 2 pools)is kept tidy and the pool is clean. The entertainment was average although Charlie and Eda did their best. Location is good, a short Dolmus trip to Hisaronu and Olu deniz. Turkish bath was Brill ! I would go back to the Greenland but I think 1 week with the limited choice of food is long enough. One final word of warning - You have to vacate your room by mid-day on the day of your departure. We were not picked up by our transfer until nearly midnight (we were not the last to leave the hotel after vacating so early). If the hotel is busy, they will NOT offer a late checkoput and there are no facilities to have a shower or get changed before the bus arrives. We were lucky in that a fellow guest took pity on us and allowed us to use their room. All in all a good break in a good quality hotel.

Not much going on here, you need a bus ride in and out of town. Quite and cooler temperatures though.

Overall our stay at the Leda was satisfactory. I'll try to be concise and simply list the good points and bad points.
Good points: Very large clean pool and good views, evening entertainment in the hotel, generally reasonably clean, everything was functional and worked well, cool air in higher location, unlimited buffet breakfast, friendly English speaking staff, air conditioning available (extra charge), hotel did represent very good value for money.
Bad Points: Rooms could be described as basic and dated, not up to 3 star standard. Location is a short walk up a very steep hill from the main road (not recommended for people with mobility problems) Hotel policy is that you do not consume your own food or drink in the hotel. Breakfast was a basic style with not much choice (the good stuff you have to pay for) Hotel food and drink prices way too expensive.
On the whole I would recommend the Leda as a good base and good value. The staff look after you well and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. However it's a very long walk into Hisaronu (the main hub) so dolmus (bus) rides are necessary to get in and out of town. The room size, decor and furnishings were a bit of a let down though by UK standards.
quiet location, near the hectic Hisaronu
