On boarding the coach to the hotel we were handed a package which included a letter about a vomiting virus which was going around the hotel. This made us very wary and concerned about our holiday. However throughout the two weeks none of us were affected an...

Just returned from a great fortnight at the Caria.
Please be aware that upon entering Turkey there is a £10.00 per person visa charge. We were not aware of this and were lucky to have £40.00 in sterling on us. By the way it does not matter what cur...

Me and my husband loved strolling along the beach every day to stretch our legs. As the hotel is sat next to the beach we were surprised how quiet the beach was. It was lovely to go paddling into but I didn't go for a swim as it was a little rough.
The shops at this hotel had very high prices. Example we brought 10 lolly pop sweets and it came to almost 20 pounds. We couldn't believe it. My daughter bought some bags and the waiters at the hotel said she should have gone into the local market for much better prices.
We only ever used the restaurant at the hotel and never went into town for food but friends that we met said food prices were like at home really. Although Dalaman airport is the worlds expensive airport as we were told by first choice rep and believe me it is. A Mc Donalds kid meal was coming up at 9 pounds. This is bad. We had a beer , tea and lemonade and that was 15 pounds. Entertainment was good both night and day. I think children enjoyed the evening entertainment better than grown ups. Me and my husband sat around near the bar most evenings with new friends we'd met as we prefered to relax and chat. Now today I heard about the terrible accident involving the girl and her father on the jeep safari with Sarigerme Tours. We went on this trip and all we can say is it was fantastic. The guides were great fun and we were well looked after throughout the excursion. In fact we came away saying it was one of the best tours we'd ever been on. It was non stop action from start to finish. However unlike the first choice tour jeeps you could stand up and use water whenever you liked infact we were soaked. I feel sorry for the people who have been involved in that accident but I saw people on the other jeeps and on my jeep who stood up while the jeep was moving and you could see an accident waiting to happen. Its just that when people go abroad they leave their safety advice behind and I'm afraid Sarigerme Tours aren't going to force you to sit and belt up. But once again believe me you will love this adventure on the jeeps.

The hotel was completely spotless throughout. The Jacuzzi Suite room were fantastic and quite big for a family of 4. We loved the restaurant food and can't see why some reviews have said it is poor. So much to choose from with different chefs making up...
