We could not fault any part of this holiday we had two boys age 15 and 13 who had a fantastic time, both of them ate their body weight in food, were never bored and made lots of friends. we booked our trips through saragerme tours in the town, they were faultless from start to finish, the staff were very good with the boys nothing was any bother for them. The food was lovely every day, the dining area was very clean and we never heard of anyone unwell while we were there. The outside areas were well kept and the design of the landscaping features was well done and nice to look at. We wouldn't hesitate to go back here and do the same again.
it was clean and great value for money...

Just got back from the Holiday Village and can say that the village itself is vast, but in October was not at capacity. The 12 pools are as good as any that I have found anywhere, from massive ones to slide pools, childrens pools and ones where adults on their own could find some peace if wanted. The gardens are immaculate and if you wwant to soak up the sun next to a Koi carp filled pool you can do that as well. We had a Jacuzzi Suite which was spacious, well equipped and spotless.
If there is a down side the village could be anywhere, except for the nationality of staff you wouldn't know you were in Turkey, this isn't a particular criticism, just a fact.
The food is clearly aimed at the british family market [chips with everything] and we felt a little more imagination could have produced meals with a wider appeal. They certainly have great produce to work with. Again to be fair, you could always find something to eat but they do have a problem keeping meals hot and we used the microwaves a lot. The Asian and Turkish themed restuarants are average and we walked out of the Italian [it was awful] a square of microwaved lasagne with no taste, saled or anything else.
the childrens entertainment is great but the rest is working mens club stuff - but being able to sit out in the open air this late in the year helped !!!
The weather is great in October, betwen 26-28 degrees, clear skies and the sun strength such that you can stay out all day, and with decent sun cream not burn. If you want a chill out holiday, with the choice of 'getting involved' in actiivities and especially if you have kids the Holiday Village is a good choice. If you are looking for a Turkisk feel give it a miss.
A couple of practical points
Whilst there is a 24 hr medical service there is no pharmacy on the complex or in Sarigerme. the nearest is a 30 minute drive away in Dalyan so take plenty of what you need because if you get 'deli beli' you will have to see [and pay] to see the doctor just to get what you can but at the chemists before you go.
Lastly there is no launderette [there is a laundry service but its expensive] so take plenty of clothes or some washing liquid.
i hope this helps
Sarigerme is a one street village with the usual tourist shops selling what the locals call 'genuine fakes' jewellery and holiday goods. As stated there is no pharmacy. The excursion companies in the Sarigerme are much cheaper than the reps offer and everyo...

If you like the great british holiday resort youll love this place. You dont need to think for your self which may be what some want from a holiday. Meal time quite a frantic experience instead of relaxing, only one visit to the Al A Carte restaurants per visit (shame, the Italian was Very nice) There are queieter pools if you look around. We were kept up by noisy neighbours on several occassions (partying until around 2.30am) The entertainment is generally good but there is an obsession by the staff that the more noise being made by shouting, the more your level of enjoyment (not true for me im afraid).
Can i recommend it, sorry i cant. Well i can if you want to feed like cattle and stay up most of the night keeping other guest awake , then i think you'll love it.
Jeep Safaris worth doing (not made aware of recent unfortunate death of 2 guests in previous weeks, by reps, found out from other guest). Was not the First choice trip that was involved but i believe one booked locally. First choice one had seatbelts and forward facing seats. It is still one long water fight but only when vehicles are stationary.
Trip to mud baths a good day out, and as was Dalayan in the evening (nice to get away from the hordes of shoving Guests who gave the impression they hadnt eaten for days). Use the upstairs restaurant which opens half an hour later and the beach snack bars at dinner time, if you want to avoid the crowds. The facilities are much better on the Blue side (pools , cafes, theatre). This was two hotels and for some reason they still persist with a them and us with different colour wrist bands, (Blue and Orange) The pools in the Orange half were very busy.
Overall, Hotel is modern and clean but too far from anywhere and you are holidaying with half of Britain it seems.
Mediocre, im afraid. Too big a resort. Think Butlins in Turkey.

We have just returned (06th Oct) after a two week stay after staying here the same time last year.
We stayed on the orange side this year in a jacuzzi suite as we stayed on the blue side last year.
We found the orange side was a lot quieter than the blue and also overheard someone calling the blue side the "chav side"!!
The entertainment team were fab again. The back to school show was hilarious and seeing Oli again was brilliant.
The food is good ,yes on the odd ocassion some of it is a bit cold but this is down to ignorant holidaymakers not closing the lids.
My husband did get a bad stomach for one day. We did see several people get dodgy tummy's but it only seemed to last for 12-24 hours. Myself and my kids were fine.
A bit of a tip, if you are staying on the orange side and have kids, stay by the small slide pool next to the astroturf pitch. It was quite quiet there and we always managed to get a bed no matter what the time.
The mozzies were really bad this year, they were coming out in the day time due to the occasional rain shower we had.
Sarigerme town is fab. The market is great value and if you fancy a change to the hotel go to Sarigerme Restaurant. We had a meal and stayed for the karakoe later. The reps go there on their day off. It was the best night of our holiday. They also show the football (even on the foreign channels).
We have also been to the Lanzerote and Egypt holiday village and this hotel is just as good.
I strongly beleive a holiday is what you make of it. The hotel provides you with fantastic (extremely clean) facilities, the rest is up to you. We personally made the most of it and had a fabulous time. We have met some friends for life and think our holiday was worth every penny

On boarding the coach to the hotel we were handed a package which included a letter about a vomiting virus which was going around the hotel. This made us very wary and concerned about our holiday. However throughout the two weeks none of us were affected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself could not be faulted for cleanliness - the only dirty areas could be the toilets and occassionally around the pool. The meals were always of a good variety and even our fussy children had plently to choose from. Perhaps the only fault with the food could be that the meals could have been a little hotter, although staff were always chacking the temperature of the food containers. Service in the hotel was good. Rooms were always kept clean and the bar staff were always friendly. The hotel was located on the beach which was very near. The beach could have been kept slightly cleaner by the staff and perhaps more sun loungers could have been provided on the beach. The beach slopes very suddenly about 5 metres from the shore so it was not ideal for children, however our 3 kids had lots of fun. The entertainment staff were excellent and the kids club staff were always cheery and helpful. Our kids often went to the club throughout the day and also in the evening.
Sarigerme village is close to the hotel and only 5 minutes by the local bus. We really only went to the market on a Sunday
