Just come back from Holiday Tropical in half term week. This hotel was superb couldn't fault anything and i am fussy. It was clean and lovely surroundings. Was given a jacuzzi suite when we arrived which was a free upgrade. Staff work very hard keeping place clean. Was really pleased we were in this hotel as the Pegasus Palace was like Butlins, kids everywhere and it was literally full. It is disappointing to know that next year First Choice are taking over this hotel as well and making the two complexes as one. Both will be full of English then as the one we were at had Germans, Belgians etc. But this made it more refined as they do behave better. Food - Lots of choice but not always suitable for us English. Obviously no bacon or pork. No real cuts of beef or lamb. Lots of salad selection, bread, cakes, chip/potatoes, and plenty of pasta and stews. Had a Turkish bath and massage cost £55 for me and my son for 90 mins. Very nice. Went on Jeep Safari which we booked in local village on the right hand side near the top. Well worth it as had so much fun, driving through villages, up mountains and through streams, much better booked this way than through reps. Cost £20 per adult and half price 6-12 free for under 6. This included lunch which was lovely. Local market on Sunday in village but be prepared to haggle as they start off really high trying to suss you out. Got Victoria Beckham , Armani, and D & G jeans for £9 each. T shirts 6 for £10 all good fakes. You have to be firm with stallholders as they do pester you. Only negative thing is we all got bitten even though used repellent frequently. One tip Dalaman Airport is so expensive for drinks and food. When you check in, go down to exit and outside across the road there is a cafe for the coach drivers that anyone can use. Very cheap and good. Pools and slides are good but water cold maybe in summer is warmer due to weather.

I cannot find any faults with the Tropical Hotel. The staff were all very polite, and friendly. Our room was cleaned every day without fail. I must say also that the food was delicious and there was always lots of choice. Compared to all the other Thomson hotels we saw on the airport transfer,I found the Tropical to be in the very best location. Very close to all the bars & shops. I would certainly stay there again. The only downside was the air conditioning in our room didnt seem to be very good, but I also think the excessive outside temperature,(36-44 degrees most of the time)didn't help. If the local people were saying they were hot, then it must of been very hot.

After booking for 5 'mature' fun loving women at Firsh Choice in Bury we looked in 'Holidays Uncovered' written some time ago. The majority of write ups were not good. However, having returned home in the early hours of this morning I have nothing but praise for Iberostar Hotel Tropical. Not everything went smoothly, first a 3 hour flight delay with no refreshments offered plus, having booked two rooms, on arrival, we were told we only had one room booked! However within 30 minutes this was sorted by the very courtious reception staff. We were given card keys and towel vouchers for the pool towel service. Very pleasant porters delivered our luggage to our rooms within minutes.
The Jacuzzi suites were very clean, with mesh sliding doors across the patio doors and window. Balcony nicely furnished. The room had a small fridge and FREE safety deposit box, remote controlled air conditioning in bedroom and lounge. TV with Sky - all English programmes in English too! The only down side, especially for a party of women, was that there were only 12 hangers in each room.
Daily maid service and regular bathroom towel changes - however the kingsize bed only had a 'single' sheet in the middle - if we had asked for another (one each) I am sure they would have obliged but we didnt ask.
The food in the restaurant and snack bar was EXCELLENT, varied, hot and plentiful. Immaculately clean throughout with staff clearing plates and others sweeping the floor continuously.
The pool and pool areas are immaculate too with plentiful sun beds and cushions -all free. There were children pool areas too with mini-slides etc. Seemed to be very child friendly however during the week we stayed there were not many children there.
The beautiful spacious gardens are tended continuously by numerous ground staff who are pleasant and courtious.
There are continuous activities, archery, rifle shooting, gymnastics, water polo, darts, dancing, etc etc throughout the day to join in if you wish but if you would rather sit, relax and enjoy the sunshine that's fine too. The entertainment staff are very pleasant, they work hard to ensure everyone enjoys their holiday.
The numerous bars were never too busy - Efes and Fosters lager plus local spirits, mainly vodka, was plentiful. Ice and lemon plentiful too. Again, the staff were all very pleasant and keen to please.
Despite other reviews saying people were 'bitten to death' we experienced very few bites - approx 5 between us during our week's stay.
Sarigerme 'town centre' is a 25 minute walk. Not a pleasant walk but OK. Taxi cost 2/3 Euros each way if you didnt want to walk. There you will find a few bars and restaurants and various shops but we never ventured there in the evening!
The evening entertainment in the complex was OK but nothing to write home about. The entertainment staff tried VERY hard to entertain but the shows in the Ampitheatre were a little amaturish to be honest. Not compulsive viewing. However there are plenty of places to sit, chat and have a drink - a little soft background music would have been nice! The communal areas are beautifully furnished throughout the hotel and the wall paintings/pictures very tasteful(not the usual hotel tat). The disco was very much a youngsters scene on the one occasion we ventured there! Not many people in...... we didnt stay long!
We each has a Turkish Bath in the hotel and facial mud treatment (not free) which we thoroughly enjoyed.
As we weren't leaving the hotel until 9pm we booked to keep one bedroom until 6pm - however this was not recorded in reception - fortunately, due to the booking in mix up when we arrived, we reminded them beforehand and presented the confirmation of the booking so it wasn't a problem.
'Charlies Angels' as we became known, really enjoyed there tay despite putting on a few pounds and have already recommended it to family and friends.
";Thank you First Choice!";

Sarigerme itself is small with a few shops and bars which really wasn't our cup of tea. But the hotel on the other hand was fantastic the staff where so friendly and hard working especially the cleaners and entertainment team who try to get you to join in the fun and games but are not to pushy if you just say no.
we did two trips while we were there the Dalyan mud baths which the kids hated but we loved they also take you to a carpet factory which sounds dull but was quite interesting and the Dalyan market but we didn't enjoy that as they where pestering you all the time we also did the family cruise where they stop off at 4 different spots for you to have a swim and they supplied life vests for the kids as well as having two kids reps on board to keep the kids entertained worth doing just for the scenery.
Food at the hotel was for the adventurous eater but the variety was very good the alcohol was my favourite as they had Becks on tap.
All in all thouroughly enjoyed it and would definately go back but probably be in about 5 years when i think Sarigerme itself might be a bit bigger.

The hotel was great could not fault the food their was always pasta on for the kids if they did not like any of the main dishes their was always a good selection and you could eat from 7 am till 1am. The staff were very efficient somtimes too efficient, you had to leave somebody at the table because they cleared it up very quickly.
the tours we took were through sarigerme tours we had a great time, we done the turkish bath 2nd day, mud baths, jeep safari, twelve island tour. they were all great the jeep safari was great fun we got soaked every time we passed a house all the kids mums dads and grampas' were all throwing water over us.the driver was ace and made it very exiting the views were great. if you need anything Oguz (OZ) is your man. his team is great aswell. give him a phone before you go and he will tell you what you need to know. you can get his number on sarigerme.net if you are looking for genuine jewellery can recommend attila the jeweller half way up the street on the left.
all in all the holliday was great. Hope this helps.
