The Altinbas Apartments were VERY basic but clean, the staff were friendley but not happy when you brought your own food in even though this was self catering accomodation. The pool was totally in the shade and very very cold and small, the sun terrace didn't get the sun until after lunch but plenty of sun beds. We even had to buy our own toilet rolls. Kusadasi is like all Turkish towns impossible to window shop but the Friday market is excellent with many bargins and very near the Altinbas Apartments. Good places to eat The Wishing Well and The Mayflower. On bar street Molly Malones.
Altinbas Apartment very noisey and not advisable if you want to sleep before 4am.

This was a great holiday had by all - Our first night we found the town centre a bit daunting - people calling you into every shop - we soon learned not to stop at every single shop and just politely say no thank you!

This was a great holiday had by all - Our first night we found the town centre a bit daunting - people calling you into every shop - we soon learned not to stop at every single shop and just politely say no thank you!
Kusadasi is a great spot with plenty to do! A trip to Ephesus is a must - it is a fantastic, amazing site - took our breath away! Our tour guide also brought us to see a rug making establishment which was very interesting - The skillfulness of the workers is just astounding!
Both water parks are great - Aqua Fantasy is probably geared slightly more towards children but both are good fun!
Bar street is buzzing at night time - Everyone wants you to go to their bar - We found Jimmys and the Shamrock to be about the best although we didnt venture into a lot of them at all!
Our apartments were basic but clean - we had a good air conditioning system which was a big plus for us!
You cannot go to Turkey without experiencing a Turkish bath - I think you are better to book this through your rep as some of the baths are said to be a bit unprofessional - the one we went to was fantastic - I have never felt so relaxed!
Everything in Turkey is cheap - the restaurants are of a high standard and very cheap - Ciminos, Gondols and the Wishing Well were among the best we went to - Around ?12 each for a 3 course meal and whatever beers or soft drinks we got with this.
Friday market is not to be missed - We are all sporting our 100% Genuine fake (you would never know to look at them) - Christian Dior, Gucci, Burberry and Louis Vuitton shoes, bags, wallets etc. etc.
Overall we had a great holiday - no complaints at all! We will all be going back at some stage!
