after reading some latest reviews ,we where looking forward to our trip..the hotel states its 5 star..no way..we were on the club side and there were big stains all over the carpets,,the room was box standard ,nothing special,,the rooms where kept very clean buy the maids..the beach was good but looks dirty in the water,but this is down to the very dark sand,the water is very clear,and we went fishing on the pier most days...the thing that let the holiday down was the food in the all inclusive resturants,,,the food was very repetative,,not much for kids,,and not very appetising,,,infact it was totally rank...snacks was the the same cardboard burgers and hotdogs WITH FLIES on them,which were being served to people...infact we never ate on the sunday,because we came down with bad stomachs,,,totally sick all 5 of us.. The best bit is the water park,really good slides..taxi,s into kusadsi was 25tyl one way but you can get a bus in the mornin for 2tyl each in a mornin from the hotel.kids stuff from the shops in the hotel are a ripoff like chocolate which was about a pound plus for a mars bar... IF YOU ARE GOING HERE ..THINK ON..YOU CAN GET A LOT MORE FOR YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE,LIKE WE HAVE IN THE PAST...AQUA FANTASY IS GOOD FOR THE WATER PARK,BUT TO MANY THINGS LET IT DOWN..IF YOU BOOK THIS ,YOU JUST MIGHT REGRET IT..

Just spent a enjoyable week on this complex.

food

A wide selection of food available in the restaurants. Got your usual chips pasta, fruits, Salad. I eat in quite a few nice restaurants and even though things are cooked in bulk it was tasty. My only moan would be lack of cutlery and that I bet it gets really busy in peak season. couldnt believe how clean the whole complex was, no problems with upset stomach. Around the complex there are snack bars which serve pizza burgers wraps ect.

health spa - amazing, you must treat yourself to a massage and turkish bath. Really really good. They have professional staff who have years of experience

shops - there are a few shops on site, the watch shop is very good and the members of staff are very helpfull. The normal newsagent type shop is very very exspensive. Payed £5 for a bag of nuts!! The nearest shops outside the hotel are in the town which is a short bus ride away. It is easy enough to catch the bus.

very satisfied with the room and the furniture. Just make sure you dont go near the mini bar unless your name is richard branson. Dont drink the bottled water because that is part of the mini bar. Also check it when you arrive because people were charged for items that they didnt use.

swimming pools and aqua park are very good and clean.

Loads of young children around the site which can be annoying sometimes but you know that when you book it.

the entertainment was ok. Your typical holiday resort. The bars are quite small. The staff work really hard and are pollite especially when they have to put up with some really ignorant holiday makers. Look out for the ronaldo look alike inthe Irish bar.

1st choice - always visible and there to help as far as I could make out. There welcome meeting was geared to selling excursions rather than practical advise which sometimes you need in a country like Turkey. But Iike I said they were always there and im sure they would answer questions

The town is good fun, you do get people pestering you to buy items. The bus runs from just outside the gates of the hotel. You can buy your leather good, fake designer goods, watches.

The beach was nice and clean. The sand is very dark but the sea is shallow and warm. You can go on the peddle boats and canoes for free. They do all the other usual water sports too.

I really don't know if we stayed at the same place Emma and Tom but we had the best time EVER !!! I agree that First Choice is a disgrce. we had also paid for inflight meals and our meals where sold to someone else, when we asked for them the opened meals where taken off the people who bought them and given to us. on the flight back My Partner and myself where seated in row 12 (adult only seating) and my 6 year old grand daughter was seated on her own in row 16. Thanks to Justine ( the First Choice flight attendant) she sorted it out.But i was fiurious !! I was amazed by the hotel especially when you consider that it was the end of the season. The staff where THE BEST, attentive and funny, the food was fantastic i can honestly say i have never enjoyed food so much. We never really had any problems getting a table and we where a group of 8. I felt that the ice cream should have been more readily available for the kids but that was my only down. The room was exceptionally clean and was kept that way by the maids, the pool side was cleaned nightly ( i witnessed this myself). i agree there where flies just about everywhere, including in the rooms, and yes i did see them on the pitta bread used for my kebab but i just asked for another and got one. as for checking in at the hotel, we arrived with 3 other coaches and on the coach where given a registration card, it took all of 10 minutes to check in. some of the stuff in the hotel shops was expensive but i reccomend the photographers. very proffessional pictures and a amazing price.

First choice - Last choice, never again! Our flight was delayed leaving Gatwick and the plane was awful! It was tatty and old and we were all spilt up, we have a 3 year son who was sitting by himself!! We paid to have the in flight meals and when they never gave us them we were told that they didnt have any left.

Arriving at the hotel with about 5 other coach loads of people, check in was quite bad. We were issued with a 'splash card' credit card, for all the other extras that we were to incure. They tell you to leave your bags and they will be brought to your room, for a tip of course. They will eventually arrive about and hour later, which is not good when it is 2 in the morning.

We had a family room, which was ok, clean (apart from the carpet)and a good size. After a long trip we was very thirsty and there was a bottle of water on the side with glasses. We along with most people in the hotel thought that this was complimentary, as you cannot drink the the tap water. Dont be fooled this is part of the mini bar and you will be charged. The mini bar is expensive, 2pounds for a can of coke, 3 pounds for a beer, and 7.50 for a vodka, 2 pounds for crisps! The shops at the hotel are equally expensive. There are no shops outside the complex unless you go into town which is 20lira by taxi or 3.5lire by bus, each way.

There are only two resturants on the complex, which is ridiculass, very hard to get a table. It was like a cattle market trying to get the food, which was terrible and cold. Other nationalities do not know what a queue is! The staff are rude and ignorant, i think they pefer the Germans. Our first day we went for late breakfast as we didnt get to sleep till late. The late breakfast ends at 11, my 3 year old was still eating and they chucked us out of the resturant. Fresh orange juice is also extra at £1.50. We was not allowed to take any food or drink out of the resturant so my 3 year old didnt have much breakfast. If you do manage to smuggle out food be warned that if they find a plate in your room they will charge you £10 and a cup £5.

The all inclusive is a joke, the food finishes at 9.30 and you have to wait untill 12oclock for the soup kitchin like we were homeless. Soup was like water and you couldnt even get a drink of water with it. I asked them to fill my sons cup up for bedtime as he has a drink to sleep but they want 3pounds to do so.

hotel was very clean we had a select room which overlooked the pool, we went with a party of 6 so we had 3 rooms could not fault any of them, yes as previous reviews said if you took cups or plates back to room you would be charged, if we did take any back we just took them out next morning before maid came in. meals were ok the only problem is that its just a big hotel that there is a lot of people all wanting there food at the same time.
