First hotel I ever stayed in that actually charges for toilet paper! Aircon was £40 per week extra. They also want £20 deposit before you get your key. On the first night a litre of milk plus 750 gms of sugar cost £5. The "local" brandy (£4 a drink) is actually under-stength FRENCH spirit.......

1st time in kusadasi and we stayed at the carina. this has to be by far the most amazing holiday me and my friend have ever experienced. the staff were just plain amazing. jimmy shaun roberto ronaldo alex and ricky and not to forget bradley at the recpetion. they made us feel welcome and even went to bar street with us!. there the reason were off back to kusadasi next year!. ive read lots of reviews about hearing the open air night club at all hours in the morning. i never once heard it when i stayed at the hotel for the night. im forgetting one person in all this and thats JJ! the best rep ever. she helps you when ever you have a complaint or problem. :) i cant wait to go back next year!

Have to agree strongly with the last reviewer and disagree strongly with Bear! Carina Hotel has just given myself and my family an excellant holiday. The rooms were clean and had all that we needed as we tend to book self catering for the fridge but eat out every night. The pool was lovely and clean and the surrounding areas well kept at all times. The staff were very very good, looking after each member of my family and the bar staff in particular made a real effort with my children which I very much appreciated. The free meal was vey enjoyable and took place on the monday, the rooms were cleaned every other day and when I needed an extra clean as my son was ill, it was done immediately and certainly with no extra charge! The rep JJ was quite simply the best rep we have ever had, in her meeting, she told us everything we needed to know and was always around throughout our holiday to help us in any way. Kusadasi town was lovely, busy with the children but very welcoming. A great place for a family holiday.

This was my second trip to Turkey and i loved the Carina Studios. the staff was brill and got on really well with the rep JJ she helped me and my friend if we had any problems or questions. Our rooms were really nice and basic. the veiws we had was amazing. i would recomend staying at the Carina Studios to anyone and everyone.

I had a brilliant time in Turkey, it was my 1st time. I went along with my boyfriend and my best mate and her boyfriend. Carina studios were not very good tho. Having to pay 60 lira for AirCon is a total joke. There is no lift and we were on the top floor! I was shocked to realise also that we only got 1 toilet roll when we arrived and had to PAY at the reception downstairs for more toilet roll the rest of the 2 weeks we stayed!! They dont clean your room everyday, if you want that you also have to pay. You get a free meal on the Thursday night but its all cold.. well the spaghetti im sure was ment to be warm. We got 2 meals as we where there 2 weeks and both times it was not great. The apartments are situated at the top of a very steep hill but once you walk down (5mins) past Bird Island, you are right at all the shops. There is a nightclub right across from the hotel called Elias. It is stunning (all outside) and you can sunbathe there during the day on bean bags right at the water. The YUKKA is a lovely place to eat, can be expensive but worth it. We also found a place called 'Saray' where the food is just beautiful. All in all i had a brilliant holiday but that was probably becuz i didnt stay around or drink at the hotel, there was no Entertainment, well.. there was a poor attempt a couple of nights if even and its not for kids!! We spent our time in the waterpark, at the beach, renting buggies (brilliant craic), going on day trips, eating out and shopping :) Plus.. the rep was not very helpful. She didnt recommend any good restaurants or places to book trips or even directions to the beach!! Lucky for me.. my boyfriend had been to Kusadasi a couple of times before and knew all the best places to go.
