This holiday was booked via the internet as a last minute deal through Hayes Travel who sourced this hotel via hotles 4 you. On arrival we were greeted by un - helpful staff, and shown to our room having carried our own cases. The accomodation was dirty, toilet still unflushed, bathroom full of dust and pubic hair and the fourth bed was only suitable for a small child.
On entering the restaurant for the first time we were greeted with dirty table clothes, food covered in flies and wasps, and a chef serving omlettes wearing his white uniform that looked as if it had not been washed all season. On examining the pool/communial area, these were found to be littered with wrappers and cigarette ends.
On speaking with other guests we were told there had been several burglaries (not confirmed) and guests complaining of deli belly. we never unpacked our cases, and were so happy that this was one of the shortest stays as we left for alternative accomodation after being there for only 7 hours. (additional cost charged at £450.00 for upgrade. discovered lots of other guests had done likewise.)

Great rooms for families. We had family of four and since these apartments were self catering and have only this year gone to all inclusive the space we had was unbelievable.
All inclusive in this hotel has a completly different meaning to any any other all inclusive holiday that you may have booked. Especially with children you would expect snacks throughout the day since they are not as keen to try out the local dishes. Unfortunatly at la route snacks are only available from 11.00 to 12.30 that is in between braekfast and dinner. Snacks include burgers hot dogs and chips!!. There are more snacks at 14.00 these iclude biscuits and cake. Ice cream is not available for children you have to buy any 'lollies' ice cream is not available for kids.
The whole idea of all inclusive is that the kids don't keep asking for bits and pieces throughout the day therefore I would not recommend this hotel for families. Food gives you stomach upsets. There are no gardens as quoted on the web site and the childrens play area looks nothing like real thing once you get there.
There is no mini bar in the rooms there is also no baby sitting service and no childrens club (the young lady who was running the club has left and not been replaced.
All in all I would not recommend this hotel to any family.

The hotel itself is situated just off the main road that runs from Bodrum up to Izmir. The hotel is not in a central location but the walk down to the sea front is quite pleasant not suitable for the elderly or disabled though. If you can't be bothered to walk back then just get a taxi orjump on a shuttle bus which go past every minute or two. They even sound their horn and will pick you anywhere. The resort front and centre is excellent. Loads of shops and retaurants if you are feeling peckish. Small fair ground on the front for kids in the evening. Alsoreally impressive cruise ships stop off throghout the week
Service at the hotel is excellent. The staff are really welcoming and your bags are brought to your room for you and they don't expect a tip. There is a reasonable selection of food with traditional turkish dishes and some british food. Salads and deserts are self service but main meals are served by the chef.
Snacks are served in two snack bars at various times in the day. Snacks are not served during times when there are main meals being served in the restaurant. And importantly no snacks are served in the evenings after 7.30pm so eat loads at dinner. Drinks are self service and there is a pool bar. There is a large adult pool and a smaller kids pool with a slide.
Entertainment is not very good. Altough the staff make an effort to get people involved in volley ball and water polo in the day - much of this is centred at adults so there s not much for the kids.
Evening entertainment is the pits they have a turkish night with shopping stalls and belly dancers but the rest of the week there are quizzes and dreaded bingo. There is a nice atmosphere. Entertainment is provided on an outside stage. The retaurant is partly open air too which I suppose is a sign of the good weather they have. We went in late June and the weather was wonderful. Hot by day and a noticeable drop in temperature in the night which made tings a little more confortable. The air conditoning also helped.
All in all a good holiday. Very relaxing and enjoyable. One word of caution - if you are going with Complete holiday solutions or your transfer agency out in Turkey is Yasal Dalyan don't be surprised if there are no transfers waiting for you when you reach Bodrum airport. We had to get a taxi which cost £60 - an added expense we wern't expecting. This didn't get sorted out in the resort so we are still waiting for our refund. All people traveling with other companies seemed to have no trouble with transfers. Going home was fine.A nice time had by all.
