Kusadasi itself was nice enough but made a mistake with the hotel. When we booked it advertised a pool but when we got there in it's place were the beginnings of a road!Only a tiny roof pool replaced it.Old green carpet went all the way through the hotel including bedrooms. The bathroom was tiny and dirty and the sheets and towels weren't changed once during the whole week, despite me asking the cleaners.
Breakfast was as expected cold meats, eggs, cheese and salad but there was very little variety in the evening meals... salad, soup,a questionable meat dish and rice, followed by melon. No choices. The owners brother had a bar on Dolphin beach so a free mini bus was laid on every day, that made the holiday. The beach was clean and the sea lovely and warm.
The dolmus buses were a god send and made getting around very easy.Shopping in the centre was typically Turkish although thankfully the 'hardsell' wasn't as bad as other resorts.

when we arrived at the hotel the staff came and took our cases down the stairs into the hotel . then we got allocated our rooms the hotel had a lift which was very handy.the staff very helpful could not do enough for you the rooms were cleaned daily and they alawys tidy up for you . the food was ok in the hotel the break fast was conntinetal which was ok the kids just ate bread and jam one day we got cereal which the kids enjoyed but did not get it again.we had a turkish night and a bingo night which was a great laugh the hotel was not too busy our kids were the only two in the whole hotel but they stiil had fun. the trip we went on through the reps was ephuseus was a long day going at 9 walking in the heat for three hours then went for lunch which my wife was too tired to eat it but that was nice .
we went to virin marys house first you could get some holy water from there to buy and bring home . then we went to st john the bastile place which was interesting and back to hotel for 4.we went to resturants they would come and pick you up and take you too the resturants and give you a free drink and free deserts we went to lush the best meal was the lush steak which was out of the world it is a small place but nice
the second resturant was casablanca the waiters were great they all danced and kept you entertained and it was funny the all had names like billy mitchell ,elvis and mike tyson at the various resturants
we went to red wood , kings place was brillant they had real chips not skinny chips the sheperds pie excellent we also liked mikes place . planet yucca was good a nice waiter called arif he was more a greeter trying to get you in he was a laugh the only thing i did not like we went with the reps for a night out and the meal there was far too expensive with them for what you got.
the best trip we booked through the rep was jeep safari up the mountains some of the views were great we got a fright when he asked if we could drive so my husband said yes so he drove up the mountains some of the drops were scary it was fabulous they take you for lunch to the sea side and there is a surprise along the way i will not say as i will spoil it. the boy in charge is ali and what a laugh with him but if you don't want to drive there is a jeep to go in with the organiser .aqua fantasy is good if you like swimming the kids love it.now the mud baths we booked that with adonis travel it was a long day we got picked up at 6.00 am and went on a mini bus picked everyone up and went on our journey stopped for breakfast then got on a boat went to the mud baths seen rock tombs on the way they were fantastic . at the mud baths you got covered in mud let it dry then washed it off. then went in a hot pool which was really hot if you had sunburn i would not recommend it then after that you were ment to go in a very cold one but we never went to it . then it was lunch on the boat then they took you to a beach to see turtles but the beach was too busy for them now. then you could have a swim if you wished. at the beach and then back on the boat and head back to bus.they stopped for tea at where they took you for breakfast it was a lovely day but very relaxing we got back to the hotel about 11 pm it was really good .
we went to ladies beach and corner we are not really beach people but the kids got a ride on a camel and went on a pedalo with there day at kusadasi there were cruise ship in every day it was a fantasic holiday and the people are really nice some time them asking you too come in there shops can be annoying but you get used to it tell them no money left or off the cruise ship thats if you are in kusadasi. at adonis travel if you pass it the boy on there is jimmy he is really nice we gave him some photos off us at the mud baths and the turkish delight is marvelouswe had a great holiday we would go back again to kusadasi and to the same hotel the alp even the rep said it was one off the better hotels she has seen clean and good food for breakfast and the dolmo bus stops right at the door and takes you too the centre for one lira .
we had a great time everyone we have shown our photos too says it looks marvelous so i would recommend it to any one
