The Summer Houses (Dar Al Masyaf) at the Al Qasr are absolutely stunning and well worth the extra money......waterways and private pools, butlers and privacy.....very condusive to a relaxing and fulfilled holiday.

The Summer Houses (Dar Al Masyaf) at the Al Qasr are absolutely stunning and well worth the extra money......waterways and private pools, butlers and privacy.....very condusive to a relaxing and fulfilled holiday.
Every aspect of our stay was brilliant, the staff are very proactive and seem to predict all your needs. The room was massive and the bathroom was huge.
Breakfasts are immense and cover all tastes and a huge variety of fresh fruit.
The pool is huge but lots of areas to relax and the kids were well entertained at Sinbads club.
Loads of restaurants to choose from and the Souk is brilliantly handy for small jaunts when it gets too hot!
The private transfers are well worth it from the aiport.....you are fast tracked right through the airport into your air conditioned Mercedes...with 2 small kids it was a godsend..
Emirates were brilliant and we shall def use them again for flights..
We will be returning next year....

Hubby and I have just arrived back from the Dar Al Masyaf which is part of the Madinat Jumeirah which includes the Burj Al Arab (the one like a sail) I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was fantastic !

Hubby and I have just arrived back from the Dar Al Masyaf which is part of the Madinat Jumeirah which includes the Burj Al Arab (the one like a sail) I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was fantastic !
The accomodation is in Arabian Summer Palaces, which are built in the traditional style, but oh so luxurious complete with 24 hour butler! You travel around the resort on either a dhow (small boat)as its all connected by waterways or golf buggies, the complex has over 40 bars and restuarants from the lively to the elegant, it has its own souk (market) - beautiful shops and amazing atmosphere. The pools and beach are wonderful, so clean and the service is out of this world!
This hotel has a multi cultural staff who are so unbelievably nice - I dont think we saw a sullen or grumpy face anywhere. This was a holiday which had to been seen to be believed. We arranged tours from the hotel through arabian adventures, did an amazing rally dune safari (I felt sick!) which included the sunset over the desert, camel ride, dinner with belly dancing and the hubbly bubbly pipes - brilliant.
We are definately going back, Dubai was wonderful !
