Jumeirah Beach Hotel reviews (16-17 of 17)
We have been to quite a few quality hotels around the world including the carribean etc but the Jumeriah Beach in Dubai is the best place we have been, we never usually return to the same place twice but we have this hotel and will be going again in 2006.

The staff are fantastic and everyone is treated like royalty, they find you a sunbed wherever you like by the pool, the private beach is gorgeous and they continually bring you iced flannels, ice lollies even sliced cucumber for your eyes !! free of charge. There are a number of restaurants for all taste and even an English bar. The waterpark is joined to the hotel and is free of charge to guest.
The staff remembered us from the first time we went and upgraded our room on our arrival without being asked. All the rooms are lovely and are the biggest we've ever stayed.
Outside the hotel everything is clean and to the highest of standard. The shopping malls are huge and you can see how the city is aiming to be the best in the world by the continue
al development but it doesn't interfere with your holiday.
Good places to go are the Hard Rock Cafe and the Irish Village.
Some things can be a bit pricey but the service and experience is more than worth it.

I would make a criticism though. The hotel is too big. There are over 600 hundred rooms. After two weeks being isolated on a tiny island in the Maldives it is a real shock to the system staying at such a ";buzzing"; hotel.
The other strange thing is that it was packed with what I can only describe as Russian Mafia types, the men proudly walking around showing off their gun shot wounds and there were a large number of them, very unnerving.
Wild Wadi is great, but go first thing before it is opened to the public (The first hour is just for hotel guests) And you really should try the huge water slide, if you have the nerve.
Finally as the add says ";fly emirates";
