I stayed here in May 2008 with my husband and son, and was upgraded on arrival as we had to wait for a room. The staff are great, friendly, professional. The hotel is super clean and the facilities are superb. There is no falseness about this hotel, holiday makers are friendly. My son was taken ill in Dubai, and at 5 years old and being stuck there for an extra week, I could not fault the hotel, they did more for me that anyone, making sure we was ok, that regualr cars were organised to take us to and from the clinics. Virgin airlines were dire, luckily Katherine in the business centre is great at the hotel, the DR and paramedics are great and all the staff are genuinely lovely. I have stayed at Jumeriah Beach Resort also, dont waste your money go for the Le Royal Merdian Beach Resort and HOtel you will not regret it!!!!!
I loved it, Dubai is expensive dont be fooled by tax free, shopping is expensive at the malls, that have Debenhams etc, how dull!! The souks are fun. Go tot he Diamond Centres foor jewellry. There isnt much to do at night and whilst I would go back I wouldn...

I stayed at Le Royal Meridien in August 2007. We have visited Le Royal Meridien twice and every time it is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you arrive the staff cannot do enough for you. The staff know you by name and greet you by name. I was upgraded to the club tower and it is well worth paying extra for this. The hotel is very very clean and the restaurants are fantastic. You do not need to even leave the hotel! We were going to book Jumeirah Beach hotel a few years back but we got told it was too big and impersonal. We did visit the hotel and it is very nice but it did feel a bit like a shopping mall.
Dubai is amazing. It is very much ahead of its time. It is very very clean and there is so much restaurants and places to see you will run out of time to see everything. Must go to the Wild Wadi water park and spend the day there. Shop til you drop at ...

I have stayed at this hotel now 4 years running and it is the most amazing experience that anyone can have. The hotel is superb as are the rooms and staff. Everyone is attentive to every last detail. Room service is excellent and the food in le brassarie is terrific. You can not possible want anymore choice and the desserts are just like those in england. Not awful like in some countries. I was upgraded to a suite in the main building and it was amazing. Butler service, hor doeurves every afternoon left in the room with chilled fruit basket . Comp wine list every night for pre going out drinks. Shower could fit 10 as could the corner bath suite all kitted out with elemis products. This hotel really does aim to please!! Go if you like being made to feel like a king/queen.
overall, Dubai is the up and coming place to visit. The hotels are all built with the holiday makers in mind and are not built for greed. If the UAE cant supply the staff in their hotels they wouldn't build them as big!! In Dubai city centre you can go to t...

This was our first time in Dubai and from the second we stepped off the plane we were made to feel so welcome and continued to be treated like royalty for the duration of our holiday.
I would definatly recommend this hotel and I will be looking forward to my next holiday there.

We travelled with Qatar airways which are very good and because of a stop in Doha it keeps the cost very reasonable.
