Fujairah?? I looked every where before going to the UAE for information on the emirate of Fujairah, and the information that was avalible was very scarce so i just thought that anyone going to this part of the UAE would like to know what to expect

Fujairah?? I looked every where before going to the UAE for information on the emirate of Fujairah, and the information that was avalible was very scarce so i just thought that anyone going to this part of the UAE would like to know what to expect
Firstly this is not Dubai and you should take that into consideration berfore traveling if you are going to drive yourself you will need an upto date international drivers licence you can get a tempory licence in Dubai from the transport police but its going to take you 6Hrs and 4 passport size photos along with 145Dhs
If you are going to the meridian or the sandy beach resorts then that is it, there is nothing else in that part of Fujairah so you will be out on a limb.
If you are traveling to Fujairah town its self for your holiday there are 3 good hotels to chose from.
we stayed at the Emirates spring hotel very nice had pool to our selfs most of the time but as else were in this Emirate the only place to buy alcohol are in main hotels
The main beach is unsafe we were told jelly fish, so if you want the beach then you can pay about 60Dhs for the day to use the Hilton Beach and all there facilites there is also the Ritz it has by far the best indian restarant you will ever use along lastly its very dusty
