Great resort loads to do, the 'forbidden' show at the pleasure beach was free with our wristbands and was a great way to spent the evening. The pleasure beach is a fantastic funfair with tons of rides for all ageas. The italian job 'eat as much as you can' pizzeria was terrific value and definitely worth a visit. The horse and cart rides as a bit pricey and because I was facing forward in the carriage, I had the drivers back in front of me and no veiw of the illuminations - a tram would have been better. Very friendly people in the eateries. Make sure you take hats gloves scarves long johns etc etc no joke its freezing !!!

Blackpool has it all if you are looking for a fun break. If you prefer a quieter break, Monday to Friday in term time is best as it can be very busy at weekends and in school holidays. Nearby St Annes and Fleetwood are quieter and have good shopping facilities with individual shops at St Annes and an outlet mall at Fleetwood. A good selection of well known shops can be found in Blackpool. There are many eateries, Harry Ramsden's famous fish and chips are not to be missed!

I love Blackpool, there is so much to do there for everyone, I don't even think you could manage to do or see everything in one week.
