love orlando it is wonderful. would be here all day telling you about it, go experiance it for yourself!

Whilst there we got some very hot weather hitting 40 degrees but feeling like 44. In the summer you get some very heavy afternoon showers / storms with a lot of lightning. If this happens just stay indoors. Take your own light rain kagool as the ones you can buy in the parks are expensive.

The Americans do a lot of Buffet style meals and one of the best is Ponderosa. The Black Angus which is attached to the hotel we found average and very dark with little natural light. If you budget a bit more then I recommend Johnny Rockets (Pointe Orlando) but mostly T-Rex and Rainforest café (Downtown Disney) which are fantastic. Planet Hollywood has gone a little downhill. Bubba Gump is also quite good at Universal.

When in the parks have a plan and decide which attractions are the ones you want to do first. I recommend: Epcot – Soarin, Test Track & Mission Space Magic Kingdom – Character meetings for kids Animal Kingdom – Expedition Everest, Finding Nemo, Kilamanjaro Safaris (Do 1st to see the animals), Lion King also Dinosaur is new but was very dissapointing Hollywood Studios – Rock n Roller Coaster, Star Tours (this will end soon with a new star tours ride), Backlot Tour, Toy Story (Did not do as queue always in excess of 2 hours), Playhouse Disney (Great for Kids), Lights camera action car stunt show. Seaworld – Kraken, Manta, Shark Deep Dive (Must be booked well in advance online at Seaworld.com), Atlantis and Shamu shows Discovery Cove – This place is fantastic but must be pre-booked as only 1000 people let in. Aqautica – Excellent waterpark. Universal IOA – Hulk, Spiderman, Bluto & Popeye Bilge Barges, Dudley Do Right and from 2010 harry Potter world. Universal Studios – Revenge of Mummy, Jaws, Terminator 2, Shrek, Men in Black, ET, Simpsons (Dissapointing).

I can also highly recommend SkyVenture if you fancy Skydiving but not jumping out of a plane.

I would not normally go on this type of holiday as it would be my nightmare but I went along with the rest of the family and threw myself into parklife and loved every minute! Make sure you buy your park tickets before you go -cheaper and less hassle-and jump the queues. We split the 2 weeks between Orlando and Fort Myers, which is the best kept secret of the Gulf Coast -beautiful beach but generally more expensive. Back in Orlando, my son had good use of the Vans Skatepark at Festival shopping mall, plenty of shopping at prime outlets just make sure you have enough space in your suitcase for Ralph Lauren, North face, Gap, Zoo York, Tommy Hilfiger etc. Much much cheaper than UK!!!

What can I say..........Orlando is fantastic. Be aware that you do need a car to get around. The American drivers are rude and unhelpful. The weather is very hot at times but you also get very heavy thunderstorms. Eat at T-Rex and Rainforest cafe (Amazing). The parks are brilliant. Our 3rd visit and i still want more.

The resort had plenty of restaurants and tourist shops and was reasonably quiet even with the main road only a few hundred yards from the hotels. There was very little nightlife that I could see of in relation to bars and nightclubs etc but this is mainly a family resort so I guess there is not much cause for them. Eating was good value with many places doing all you can eat buffets at very reasonable prices. The hotel has a walgreens on site which is only about 300 metres from our hotel room which was very handy to get something to eat when returning home from the parks or heading off early. The resort is only about 20 minutes to half an hour from the disney parks and about 45 minutes from universal studios. I would reccomend this resort and hotel to any families or young couples wanting cheap accomodation near disney.

Orlando is the fun capital of the world, no were else comes close to the choice and variety for you here, you can spend a fortune or you can easily be entertained on a budget,

Theme parks is what its all about and there loads here to keep everyone entertained.

FUN FUN FUN

This was my first time to orlando and i had one of the best holidays ever, lots of things to do, we were out everyday loved disney, universal and would recommend a drive to cocoa beach.

Brilliant, laid out well, easy to get around, very very very clean and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

I love Orlando and have been three times and want to go back again. There is so much to do for all ages. This was my husband's first trip and was unsure about going, but since he was been he'd love to go back.

It is tiring trying to fit everything in but well worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

A wonderland for all ages. Everything you could wish for. Driving a must though I wouldn't want to try and see Olando without one but no problem if you just wish to stay within Disney

I love Orlando. I have been 3 times and want to go again. There is so much to do for all ages. I have stayed both on International Drive and on-site at Disney and enjoyed staying at both locations, they are so different.

I hope to return to Orlando again and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going.

It has a excellent nightlife, beautiful people everywhere and everyone had a great time at Miami. I also recommend to visit Miami Ink Shop, they are awsome

this resort is kissimmee about 20 min from orlando.10 min disney. the 192 is a 12 mile long highway ,catering for all things tourist.

Best place I have ever been , something for everyone here.

Weather was a lot better when I went last year in March/April. Travelled in May this year and had several days of rain.

plenty of restaurants in area and downtown disney on the doorstep quite expensive to eat here but other places like the olive garden are well priced supermarket just down road and a petrol station over the street.easy access onto i4 making parks easy to get to premium shopping outlet about a mile away at bottom of i drive
