The location was beautiful and there were loads of things to do. The prices were reasonable and the food in the restaurants was very delicious. I cannot wait for our return trip there.

It was a lot of fun in Orlando, I really enjoyed it and had a good time. The weather was very hot and sunny which was nice and there were some nice beaches there too which was good but they were not the easiest place to get to. There were lots of places to eat out at and I went to quite a lot of them to try the food but a lot of it was quite unhealthy to be honest. There were lots of things to see and do in Orlando and I think that anyone who went to it would have a good time there. I recommend Orlando to everyone and would love to go back myself at some point in the future. The cost of food and drink is good in Orlando and it is not too expensive, some places are more expensive than others are which is a shame.

I really enjoyed staying in Orlando and would stay in it again if I could. It is very expensive though so I could not afford to go to it every year which is disappointing but it is worth saving up for and going even every other year to it. America is so much better to holiday in than anywhere else and now that I have experienced it, I would not want to holiday anywhere else. The weather was wonderful, there were lots of different places to eat out at in and around the hotels that were mostly within walking distance. I recommend buying a ticket for the local I Ride service as you can travel to places quickly and dont have to walk about in the the heat. There are lots of things to see and do in Orlando that are a lot of fun. I really enjoyed myself a lot.

Loved Disney Parks but will stay in Universal hotel for part of any future stays so that I can express rides. Will still stay at Disney hotels as their transportation was great.

Orlando is the place that all children especially young children love to go to as it is so magical and just amazing to visit. There are some nice beaches in Orlando but I would recommend going to one of the several water parks during your stay like Wet n Wild which I thought was brilliant. The nighlife was good in Orlando but not the best that I have ever experienced. It wasnt too rowdy and suitable for families which was good as most people there were with families. The weather was great there and it was very warm and quite humid too. There were lots of things to see and do there that I am sure that you would enjoy as much as I seemed to enjoy it. Have a great time if you do decide to go. I would recommend it.

"Vista Cay Apartments"

Overall Resort Rating:

Excellent

Open quote

If you want to inject a little luxury into your Florida getaway, then Vista Cay is the perfect choice. Tucked away in a brand new gated community on Universal Boulevard, you’ll be slap bang at the heart of all Orlando’s attractions here. And as well as all the theme parks, you’ve also got the Shingle Creek Resort just across the street. As well as a great choice of eateries here, you’ll also find a spa and an award-winning golf course. Once you set eyes on the Vista Cay though, you might want to spend a few more days chilling out than you’d planned. Set around Lake Cay, this Tuscan-style complex sits in immaculate grounds. How could you resist the pristine waters of the tropical pool for a start? Flanked by swishing palm trees and a patio with plenty of sun loungers, it’s the perfect place to put your feet up after a hard days sightseeing. Then there are all the extras that’ll have all ages grinning from ear to ear. We’re talking a swish games room with snooker tables and the like. A luxurious cinema room with plush red armchairs. And a fitness centre with a fully equipped gym. When you want some serious R&R, simply head back to your spacious two or three bedroom apartment. Elegantly furnished with a modern stylish décor, they have a fully fitted kitchen and a chic lounge and dining area. And as every home comfort has been thought of, you’ll also find a Playstation 2 console, a large lounge TV with cable as well as additional TVs in each bedroom. If you could design your own contemporary holiday home, we bet your bottom dollar this would be it.

Loved this area - will definately go back and stay in the same hotel. The area was perfect - walking distance to International Drive. Lots of fun things to do nearby - the Haunted House feature on International drive was fantastic and well woth the money. Plenty of reasonably priced places nearby to eat also - Denny's in about 3 minutes walk. However, I would avoid the Pirate themed restaurant - it was awful!

"Orlando review August 2010"

Overall Resort Rating:

Orlando is the world capital of Theme Parks, Water Parks and overall entertainment. There is loads to do and impossible to get everything squeezed into a 2 week holiday.

Anybodying visiting should be prepared for a hectic schedule and plan using a diary to get the maximum out of your holiday. Ensure you have some rest days and try to get to the parks as close to opening as possible....plan your visits beforehand so you lose as little time in queues and be careful of the mid day heat during summer months.

It is everything we expected and a little bit more.....the kids loved it but were very tired by the end.

I spent a lot of time in Orlando going to the theme parks which was a lot of fun. I spent a lot of time at Universal Studios which is even opened at night and Citywalk there is really good. The nightlife is good in Orlando but I think that it depends where you go. There are lots of places to eat out at as eating is a really big thing in Orlando. The weather was fantastic in Orlando and it was really hot and sunny too. The cost of food and drink was good especially in buffet places like the Red Lobster and The Sizzler where you could eat as much as you wanted at a set price. I would recommend Orlando to everyone to go on holiday. It is a lot of fun and children will love it a lot.

Overall Resort Rating:

It is a lot of fun in Orlando and children in particular seem to love it especially Disneyland. There are lots of places to eat out at but you should maybe bring a packed lunch to the theme parks as the food in them is really expensive and quite unhealthy too. The cost of food and drink can vary from place to place, some places are more expensive than others. There are lots of restaurants and places to eat out at in Orlando but a lot of them dont serve any healthy food, it is all mostly fast food they serve. The weather in Orlando is very earm and sunny and it is really hot which was nice and I enohiyed the sun a lot. The nightlife was good also but moreso in certain parts of Orlando than others. I want to come back again in a few years.

great place for a holiday. The combination of theme parks, shopping and great weather means you have a lot of choice of activities. It can be expensive to eat in some of the theme parks and to go to the parks every day.... but a day shopping or by the pool can also be great as the weather is good too.

This is the place to go if you are looking for a fun and energetic holiday. I loved going to Dineyland, it is huge and so much bigger than I had imagined it to be. There are loads of rides to go on which is good. The beaches in Orlando are good and very pretty. The cost of food and drink is good and I would recommend going out to the several restaurants and cafes and sampling lots of different types of food and drink. There are lots of things to see and do in Orlando and you will always have things to see and do when you are there. The nightlife is great and a lot of fun too. The weather was amazing as well and I had a really good time sunbathing and toppping up my tan. I had a brilliant time in Orlando and would definitely go back there again.
