The Rosen Center, on I Drive is an excellent place to stay, friendly staff, lovely pool and hot tub not too busy due to conference users.Stunning views of I Drive easy access to all theme parks. Hired a car and in our opinion you really are better doing this.Used I Trolley once and found it very small and crowded.

Overall Florida is an excellent holiday destination with plenty to do, see and eat. Shopping mall prices very cheap. Bought theme park tickets before departure from attraction ticket direct good price and well worth it, cheaper to buy before you fly. Visited at easter time and the quese were not bad, weather excellent no humidity or thunderstorms and no rain. Best eating places we found were TGI's Race Rock and Red Lobster. Best breakfast value is Ponderosa.Avoid Chinese restaurants, good meal but very pricey compared to other food sources.

We have just returned from another fantastic Florida holiday.

The Rosen centre was a great hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very impressive we had a room on the 13th floor which was nicley decorated and very comfortable with excellent views over international drive and Orlando itself. The pool in the hotel as described in the brouchere was a good size and always nearly empty as most people staying in the hotel are with conventions so are busy during the day. No need to get up early for a sunlounger as there was always plenty available. There were very few children in the hotel which meant it was very peacful around the pool area.

The only fault with the hotel is the transport the offer to the disney parks for $14 per adult return. We booked the transport the day before as requested but it failed to pick us up. When we enquired about this the man admitted the transportation company they used (Mears) were unreliable and failed to pick people up on numerous occasions but they were very good and provided us with a taxi to the park free of charge.

We didn't take the car hire option with our package and it was easy enough to get to the parks without a car. International drive has two options of transport available, firstly we tried the I ride trolley which runs the full length of international drive, 75cents per trip and children under 12 go free. BUT it is always full and you usually end up standing, it stops every block and can take some time to where you want to go.
We then discovered the Lynx buses (No8 to seaworld) $1.50 per trip but you can usually get a seat, it only stops every two blocks and it's much quicker with a lot less tourists on it. we bought a 7 day pass for $11 which was great value for money available from the offical visitors centre.
Both go the same route along I drive and to seaworld where you need to change to catch the Lynx bus No 50 which will take you to Magic Kingdom and from there you can get transportation to all the other Disney parks.
For Universal you can either get off at wet and wild cross over the road and it's a ten minute walk or there isa Lynx bus which will take you directly there.

International drive is a great place to stay with plenty of restaurants on offer from the all you can eat buffets like sizzler to restaurants that offer a more extensive menu some of our favourites were Uno, Houlihans, Olive garden. The only one we were disapointed with was Ming court which was very expensive $70 for a meal for two. On my last visit i stayed in walt disney world itself but i much prefer international drive.

A trip to Discovery Cove is well worth it,a fantastic day from start to finish, and wonderful food,a nice way to relax, and swimming with the dolphins is out of this world,we have already booked the Rosen Center of June next year.
