"Amazing value for money"

This is an exceptional hotel that offers all the Disney extras. Yes it can be quite busy but if your just using this as a base then it is perfect. The food court has a variety of different food available for all three meals. There is an excellent little shop that not only sells disney merchandise but also your everyday needs for things you may have forgotten. The hotel is excellently themed and would suit a young family. i'd recommend staying away from the main pool as it can be quite nosiy as people are in the pool up to midnight. There are 3 different pools so you can always find a quiet spot. Overall its a great value hotel.

"Great Choice"

Overall Hotel Rating:

Great hotel in a great location. Exactly as per the brochure. The transport to and from the parks is great, 15 minutes was the longest we had to wait to get to the parks. Coming home from the parks can take slightly longer after the fireworks etc but it's to be expected with so many people leaving at the same time.

The pools are great at the hotel and the free life jackets for the kids are really good. The food was ok, not great but not rubbish either, just typical food court stuff.

We were in the 80's building overlooking the parking and it was really quiet. The rooms are a good size and were really clean. Maid service came every day, fresh towels if needed etc. The rooms walls are quite thin which would be my only fault but we were hardly in the room so not a real problem.

The lake and Generation Gap bridge at the back of the hotel are nice for a walk and to watch the fireworks from.

Overall a great choice, would defo stay here again.

We felt that the hotel was very enjoyable. The staff that worked were very polite and was a pleasure to stay there. Room service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. My children loved the fact that they could swim late into the night. Having a laundry service on site was an added bonus. The rooms were kept very clean and the little touches of having things made from flannels was lovely as again m children tried to copy them. Not having to take an iron and hairdryer were a great plus for me. Fantastic experience overall.

Loved the Pop! Great price for Disney, and bus service to parks is very convenient to get about. Food court could get very busy but food was good and service was quick. Rooms are a good size, with two double beds. Check in was quick and easy, and the in room TV had channels with park info (hours etc) which was very handy for planning your day.

My husband and I stayed here in December 2008 for 9 nights. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location is great, and the Disney transport will get you all around Disney World for free. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and ours was very quiet. We were able to park our car very close to our room which was convenient. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Pools looked nice but we didn't use them. The pool bar was very nice, we particularly enjoyed the Hula Hoop cocktails. The food court could get very busy, but if you eat at off times is fine. The food was decent, and there was a good selection.

"REVIEW ON POP CENTURY, ORLANDO"

Overall Hotel Rating:

We had a fantastic time in Pop Century - you really wouldn't guess that it is classed as a 'budget' hotel. Everyone was friendly - from the cleaners to the security - we felt we were living in the Disneyworld Bubble !! There really is no point in paying more for the more expensive hotels . The only downside is the food court which we felt was quite basic but if you're eating in the parks, this is no problem. I would stay again in a heartbeat - we stayed in the 50's resort.

We loved our time at Pop Century andd stayed there for three weeks last year. We opted for a preferred room which is just like the others but nearer the main building. The rooms are spacious aand comfortable and the pools excellent. There is a self service food court so you can always find something you like. All in all it is an excellent hotel.

The hotel itself was perfect for what it is; a family orientated Disney hotel. As we were a couple on our first trip to Florida, it also suited us very well, with decent food, good amenities, and regular bus services to all the Disney parks

We stayed here in August 08 Me, hubby and 2 kids 6 + 11 the hotel was brilliant the only thing I would say is there food court did not have much choice it was very expensive its ok if you wanted to on chicken nuggets and chips but we found that most of the food in disney was like that, unless you actually went to a proper restaurant, which in my opiininon I would because the quality off food was excellent and to be honest for what you where paying for the fast food junk you might pay for a decent meal and if you go outside disney you can get even more for your money, the hotel was brilliant the kids loved the pool, life guards on till midnight so was brill when you came home from a long day in the park a nice cooling swim was brilliant, they had good facility ice bucket in the room was brilliant if you didnt want to pay for a fridge, I brought a case of bottled water and just filled up the bucket with ice every day there was a ice machine and drinks machine on every floor, also had a very good laundry so you could keep on top off the clothes as wet damp smelly clothes when it was storming was brilliant, i would buy from wallmart the washing stuff as its cheaper than pop. This was our 1st wdw holiday and we loved every minute off it the only problem was there was not enough time in the day to do all we wanted to do, soooo much to see.

Pop Century is one of disney's Value hotels . It is themed around the last five decades of the twentieth century, with enormous icons from Disney films made in the specific decade eg The fifties section has Lady and The Tramp. The sixties section has Baloo and Mowgli. The theming is bright, in your face and intensely Disney, children tend to love it, as do I, adults looking for a more sophisticated Disney onsite experience would be better off at one of Disney's moderate or deluxe resorts. The food court is adequate and moderately priced but can get extremely busy at peak periods. The pools are pleasant enough but have no slides. The rooms are fully acceptable but have no balconies or terraces.A major advantage of staying here is access to Disneys Extra Magic Hour in the parks for onsite guests only and use of the Disney transport system. For what this place costs very roughly around £50 a night depending on season it is well worth it if you love Disney atmosphere and perks.
