Sheraton Atlanta Reviews

Spent 3 nights at the begining of the holiday and 2 nights at the end in the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. Hotel was nice but we felt that it wasn't quite the same high standard of either the Sheraton in Edinburgh or Perth Australia. It had a lovely courtyard type swimming pool with a glass roof which is opened on hot sunny days. Wouldn't recommend paying the extra to have the use of the Club Lounge - but the rooms were nice and the food was good.

We certainly did not find Atlanta boring - we can recommend taking a tour with Francine ";See Georgia through my eyes"; a local lady who shows you lots of things that you would not see with a large Grey Line Tour. For only $55 per person (we shared the comfortable mini bus with just one other person) we enjoyed 5 hours of Francine's Atlanta including experiencing ";soul food"; for lunch - she picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at a train station because we wanted to go shopping rather than return to the hotel.

We saw good live music in a bar near the hotel and the Coca-Cola museum and Underground Atlanta were within walking distance.
We were able to fly to Atlanta from Edinburgh and we toured Tennessee from there.
It was a great holiday.
