Harborside Inn Reviews

Great hotel, very convenient about 30 feet from one of the Aquarium T entrances. Very close to Long Wharf where Trolley bus tours start. Quincy Market is just over the road. No restaurant so no breakfast offered, but large very comfortable rooms with huge beds. Tea and coffee availabe 24hrs a day in the comfortable lobby / lounge area. Two computers are also free to use in this area for Internet access, the hotel also has WiFi access to the Net.

We had an atrium room which was very quiet. Large screen TV with about 100 channels, table and chairs and the room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We have already recommended the hotel to friends who are planning a trip to Boston in October.

We have just returned from this hotel and found it to be great. It's a fantastic base for visiting in Boston. We got the T from the Airport ($1.25) and it was just 2 stops away. When we came out of the underground the hotel was right there beside us. Initially things didn't look great as they sent us to a room that was already occupied but this was quickly rectified. Our room was really nice. Not like the usual hotel room, a bit more charming, very comfortable and very clean I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

At the moment there's no restaurant and I'm not sure if thats going to change, However you are just 2mins walk fron Quincy market where you can get literally anything you want to eat either to sit down or take away. There are some really great restaurants around there too. We ate in McCormack and Schmicks on our last night. A bit pricey but fab seafood.

A tip - if you want to eat in the union oysterhouse BOOK IT no matter what night of the week it is.
Anyway don't worry about The Harborside Inn, it's great. We had read some dodgy reviews before we went but really couldn't fault it. We also read it was noisy at night - we never heard a thing - we were in an Atrium room, apparently these are quieter. Book away and enjoy your stay!!
