This hotel was booked for a 2 night stopover prior to travelling further inland. It is ideally situated to explore the city of Boston by foot. Set in the heart of the theatre district, you are met at the doors by eager staff who will whisk your car away to secure parking (about $26.00/day),immediately one less thing to worry about! The hotel is clean and tidy. Our room rate was about $118/night(Incl)and we found ourselves way up on the 10th floor overlooking Tremont Street. The room wasa little small but adequate for our needs.

The concierges knowledge of the town was a little dodgy so with a good guide book everything that you would want to see in Boston is within walking distance. We did not eat in the hotel but there are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. A good breakfast can be had if you turn left out of the hotel, about 50yds on the left!! Freedom Trail, Boston Tea Party (Although ship is closed), Boston Common, Cheers Bar (Both of them!) were all thoroughly enjoyed, to name but a few. The 'High-Light' had to be lunch in the restaurant at the top of the Prudential Tower - fantastic views, excellent service. The set 3 course lunch was great value for such a setting.

Only one word of warning, with reference to the hotel, it is also the venue of probably the most popular night-club in Boston. Saturday night sees the side walk across the hotel entrance absolutely mobbed, this can be a little intimidating when trying to get back to your room. The noise of the crowd on the sidewalk was audible until the early hours, although I cannot remeber hearing music from the club.
