We have just returned from our fantastic honeymoon at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, all I can say about this hotel is WOW!! Its beautiful and absolutly huge after a week's stay I still couldn't find my way round!!
As we were on our honeymoon the lady at check-in upgraded us to a lake view room and I would recommend anyone going to ask for an upgrade, the view was excellent we looked out over the dancing fountains and if you put the tv on channel 31 you can hear the music.
The restaurants are excellent we ate most mornings at the buffet restaurant and we also ate at the pool cafe, Fix, Noodles and Jasmine which I would recommend the food was gorgeous and you look out to the fountains. It is expensive to eat and drink in the hotel ($15 for 2 drinks) but there are cheaper options outside of the hotel.
There is so much to see and do in Las Vegas we was there for a week but could have stayed longer. I recommend going to the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio Hotel its 51 floors up on the roof of the hotel and the view is amazing, I would advise that if you are planning on going to any clubs you get there early or pay extra for queue jump because people were queing up for nearly 2 hours just to get in!!
We went on a helicopter to the Grand Caynon which was amazing got some great pictures.
We will definitly be going back and would recommend the Bellagio to everyone.

This was a very special holiday as I was celebrating my 40th birthday. When we visited Las Vegas two years ago, the Bellagio was closed due to a power cut. Just by looking at the hotel, I knew it was the place I really wanted to go to. Did it let us down? No way! From entering the magnificent lobby, we got the WOW factor! The staff are so polite and helpful, the room was fantastic and the restaurants and facilities brilliant. We always find something to complain about but this place is definitely the best and we would recommend it to anyone. Las Vegas is a great place to be. We spent a whole week there and visited the Margarita bar, opposite Caesar's Palace frequently.
If you fancy Las Vegas, you've got to stay at the Bellagio!

The flight was a nightmare. We picked up and dropped off in Glasgow adding to the already long travel time.
On arrival we were taken from the airport to the hotel in a hubber which was a total surprise, and much appreciated. The hotel is awesome and will take your breath away. Our room was luxurious with two huge beds, an oversized T V and a gigantic bathroom. The rooms are kept spotless and they even turn down your bed each night and leave a sweet on your pillow. A very nice touch.
Do not pack towels as they are supplied around the pool area. There are also machines of ice cold drinking water all around the pools and free of charge. Keep your eyes peeled, we were sunbathing next to Caprice. We also spotted Paris Hilton and Mike Tyson!
The buffet in the Bellagio is good value and not expensive, the breakfast is excellent. We tried the restaurant in the conservatory which was quite expensive but Ok for a treat. The buffet at Ceasars Palace was also good value. If you feel like eating in try a panini from the coffee shop or get a take away, there are no objections to taking food into your bedroom.
Take plenty sunscreen, the weather is unbelievibly hot. There are fans spraying out water all along the strip, they are very welcome!
If you like to shop Ceasars Palace and Aladins are the best. The Venician is a good day out, try the gondola ride. In the evening watch the pirate show in front of Treasure Island and the volcano next door at the Mirage.
Do not miss the Grand Canyon Ranch trip that takes you over the Hoover Dam. Also the helecoptor down the strip is a must, do it at night for best effect.
I defy anyone to not enjoy Las Vegas and especially the Bellagio Hotel. Take my word for it, it is money well spent.

After Four hectic days in New York City we left from Newark airport on our second Continental Airlines flight of the holiday, Very comfortabe planes with good service, only gripe was that the entertainment could be better Chicken Little or a bad horror film was only two choices on a trans atlantic and the internal flight.
On arriving at Las Vegas Airport, ( complete with slots in arrivals) we were definately in Vegas. As part of the trip we arrived at the hotel in style in a stretch limo, with an old school driver complete with roses and Champagne for us two female party animals.
The hotel is central to the main part of the strip and is near many attractions, restaurants and shows. Having taken a later flight out of New York we checked in around 9.15pm the receptionist became very excited and told us she had a treat for us both. Being tired after travelling for most of the day we did not take much notice but wanted to get into the room in the 5th floor. Having got to the floor we discovered why she had been so excited the reception had given us a suite in the hotel.
wow is all I can say, the room had two bathrooms with jacuzzi and steam room, dining suite and settee plus a desk with data ports. the best part of the room was the view over the strip an the fountain shows, you could spend hours watching the fountains but that is a waste in vegas.
Having viewed all thr suite had to offer we noticed that there was only one bed, so on telephoning reception thanking them but saying that we needed another bed they replied with no problem and within 5 minutes there was a porter with a spare bed and linens at the door.
Next day headed out to the Grand Canyon with Heli USA what a great trip well worth the money the helicopter carried 6 plus the pilot and took us over the grand canyon and landing at there ranch where you could go riding or just have a look around the site with the guide singing cowboy, beware it can get cold in the desert in March take a jacket or fleece with you. One the way back the pilot took us over the strip hotels pointing out the main hotels Fantastic.
Only in Vegas for three days on the last day we went to ceasars shops and the venetian, Ceasars was a grest set out area, but found the venetian not as impressive for shops.
Also worth a mention is the eating out in vegas it is superb and covers all cuisines, for a great buffet we ate at he Paris hotel just opposite the Bellagio, the Village buffet had so much choice all set out in different areas that you did not know where to turn to get your next plate. The cheesecake factory at Ceasars was also worth a mention. The restaurants at the Bellagio had great menus but as were were staying in the hotel we felt we should venture out.
The partying even mid week was great, light at the bellagio had some of the best music and DJ's, the bar at teh top of the Palms was also a favourite and had a good view of the strip.
