Went for 4 nights - flew with Delta Airlines, was disappointed as they said we hadn't prebooked our seats (despite our tour operator saying we had) so we could not sit together on the flight out.

Found the hotel very clean with the staff helpfull. If you don't like burgers or pizza you will struggle to find anything else to eat in New York. Ellens Stardust Diner on Broadway is brilliant for breakfast, the waiters sing live and are excellent, the food is good too. Got to recommend that you visit the Top of the Rock at night at the Rockefeller Centre and the Empire State Building in the day, get there about 9.00 am to miss the q's! Don't bother buying your tickets for the Empire State on line as you still have to q and take ID with you! For a bargain visit Century 21 opposite Ground Zero but you have to route around! Spent 3 hours queuing at the Tkts Booth (under Marriott Hotel, in Times Square) but the tickets that came on was not what we wanted (Tarzan or Lion King) so if you are not bothered what you see its well worth the time spent as the tickets are half price. Must go on the RED buses, do this on your first day as it helps you to get your bearings of the city. The guides are very knowledgable and you can just hop on and off. When booking your taxi for your return to the airport it is cheaper to book a yellow cab than let the hotel book it for you.

We went to New York for our honeymoon and stayed in this fantastic hotel. You are literally just off the amazing Times Square and within walking distance of almost everywhere. New York is a brilliant place with brilliant people to boot. For a first time visitor we would recommend you do the open top bus tour to help you get your bearings. You can hop on and off so you aren't stuck on it all day. Hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel is beautiful and clean. Can't wait to go back.

We went to the US to visit a few places and started in NY. We landed at Newark and got a cab which was very organised as you had someone at the rank who's job it was to tell the driver your destination and tell you the price (although depending on where you go there might be a few dollars more due to tolls). Arrived at the hotel around noon and as hotel ready at 2 we dumped bags in a safe room and went to look around. THIS HOTEL IS IDEALLY SITUATED!!. Come out of the hotel and walk about 100 yards and you are in Time Square, a few minutes the other way is Central Station etc ect

The room we were in was on 42nd floor, over looking Time Square and was really nice. i'd e-mailed the hotel a few weeks earlier to explain we were there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and about 30 mins after going to our room we had a nice bottle of champagne delivered.

All in all a very good hotel which we would definately stay in again-New York was fantastic and would love to go back- check out the Red Flame Diner a couple of blocks away which was busy but good food

A very freindly hotel, ive never been somewhere where staff are so polite, much different standard to the hotels in Tenerife.

The rooms are clean, the hotel is spotless, there is no noise as there is sound proof windows and even though the rooms are small the beds are extremley comfertable. We spent the first 2 nights in 9028, however this room was quite noisy due to pipes cluttering through the night so they gave us a free updgrade to a better standard room for the last three nights, this room being 9048.

New York itself is very friendly, lots to see and do, however beware of some people such as gansgsters who will turn on you for no reason.
